Me and my brother saw him in birmingham UK.
One of the best live shows I’ve ever been to. Incredible.
He came to the bar and had a beer with us after the show to.

The adlib/sing along at the end is everything. Such a natural performer and such a genuine connection with the audience. What a powerhouse

He was the best song writer and very under played. I was part of the Seattle music movement and looking back on him he really just wanted to be a humble artist with little fame. I loved his words and spirit he will be missed.

Mine too. Sooo much soul in that man’s voice. This song breaks my heart into a million pieces, then lovingly picks ‘em all up and puts ‘em back together again. Every time.
This is definitely being played at my funeral , this song and Shawn's voice are undescribable .

Talented, funny, the best voice of his generation by a country mile.... and that includes Layne Staley, and Andy Wood.
I was lucky enough to be at both of Shawn’s shows at the Bristol Folk House. I keep returning to these videos as they are absolutely fantastic
