There was a time I placed an order with a bookstore for a number of titles by this wonderful man incl. said "LiveFromGolgotha" and, "Perplexing" is the question why my request was denied? Strange but True! {\}
I always tried to catch the Charlie Rose show--for the guests. Rose himself was nearly insufferable, with his repulsive habit of interrupting his guests at every opportunity. It was however, so considerate of him, in this clip, to devote an entire three minutes to Gore's book.
I never understood how he had a show for so long. He was an atrocious interviewer. Later turned out he conducted himself like a cretin in his private life.
The problem is that Christians develop a kind of psychosis trying to live up to the ideal of the sinless individual. They fail miserably while desiring to punish others who find the exercise rather foolhardy and choose to enjoy life instead.
Most interviewers read at least some of the book(s) written by their guests. It always seemed like Charlie Rose didn't even crack open the covers.
far too short, but Gore was playful here and that was great :)

A man so right about so many things except the most important thing...
Which is what exactly?

Christopher Hitchens , Richard Dawkins and many others didn't believe in cults either.
