- Take literal trash and turn it into treasure. Got some dead cactus?? Make a dragonfly!! I know! Sounds weird but you gotta see how I did it using UV resin. Then I have a couple of thrift flips that turned out beautifully!! Let me know what you think in the comments below!!

That dragonfly was so much fun to make. I didn't know if it would work but I'm really happy with how it turned out. That one sold to a co worker immediately. Lol Her and her mother have a thing with dragonflies between each other so she bought it for her for Mother's Day. Thank you so much!! ☺️💜

Lol!! When my dad gave me the bag of them, I just looked at him like he was crazy. Then I spoke to my aunt who has been an artist my whole life. She said, he just handed you gold girl!! 😆I started researching them and they actually sell them on etsy!! I had no idea! I just immediately saw wings when I saw them. Thank you so much!! ☺️💜

WOW!!! Every project was magical to watch. As you painted the deer I would look up at my husband’s mount above my fireplace and you absolutely nailed the colors!! I love the clock and like it much better distressed so in my opinion that was a happy accident!!

Neither did I until my dad brought me the big bag of them. He said he showed them to my aunt who has always been the artist in the family and she told him she could take that trash bag full of dead cactus and sell them to her art club by the bundles! 😲 I was shocked! I had never seen them like that before. Lol I immediately saw wings though. Thank you! 😊💜

You know that I have been inspired and blown away by your art since day one. But, the face of that buck reminded me of a pig after you drew that line from his mouth and up. Sorry 😞 Deer don't really have a nose that is divided like that (neither does a pig, but that's what I first saw!). 🤣🤣🤣❤
I have never used uv resin. Looked like fun! I just can't afford to add something new to my craft repertoire right now! 😢😢

😆 I love how blunt you are. I love to hear how others see your art and what they would do differently. I just wanted to make it look like his nose stuck out a little more and wasn't so flat. But hey, to each their own! I appreciate the feedback!
I remember my elementary school art teacher using a tool similar to the straws to show us how to paint flowers, but it was an actual stamp. At the time, as a child, it looked like a straw to me, so I figured I'd try it, and it worked! 🤷♀️ lol I think we pull inspiration from all aspects of our lives. If you think about it, you can wrap twine around a paint stick and use that as a stamp to make a continuous pattern down a canvas. If it doesn't work, oh well! Lol The UV resin was a blast to work with. The inks I linked were a little on the pricey side but there's other one's that are just as good. I just wanted the case and I love Tim Holtz products. I'm sure they all work fine though. The resin itself isn't too expensive either. I'm definitely going to try to work more of into my pieces. They're really neat. Thank you for your feedback ma'am! 😊💜
