Been there, done that. The gearbox breathers are a bitch to do. Took me more than three hours, that's for sure, though I ran the polly hose inside split corrugated hose for extra protection. Always good to see videos on the 200 series, there are so many here on Aussie roads.

How did you go with the two gearbox breathers? I’m told there is one further up the front that needs to be added with a T piece? They don’t mention this in the video. I’m about to buy the kit and do it myself, any suggestions getting that other top gearbox breather?

Honestly, it's been so long since I did it , I can't remember. From what I recall, I think I used the existing breather line that runs along the top of the gearbox but finishes at the bell housing behind the engine which in all honesty is probably good enough unless you you stall in a river. I believe I tapped on to that end breather & extended it up into the engine bay. You need a thin arm & hand to do it, using a phone camera or video will also help to see what you are doing as some of this requires doing it on feel & checking the work afterwards with a camera.@@chrishill629

Great vid, something so simple. Really needs someone who knows what they are doing. Throughly enjoyed the tutorial.

Could I ask why did you replace the rear breather at the diff but simply extend the front original pipe? Aside from that great video - I've a feeling I might be ordering a kit before too much longer.

The quality of the existing one is sub-par. For the slightest bit of extra work to replace with high quality materials, we reckon its worthwhile. Last thing you want is a branch or something off road to rip off the flimsy material existing is made of.

@@PerthDieselPerformance I figured there was a reason behind it and I then thought you'd be eating a joint where the two hoses are at a low point. - thanks for the prompt reply

Must be nice working on a clean 200. Don’t even have to wear gloves.
