I have been following your club for a few years now, wow you carts get better and better. A big thank you from vinces family as every since he joined the club. He has always said he want to drive the cart one day. I have never seen him smile so much as on the video, driving his cart. He was originally a shy boy but wow he a different person now. I will be back out on Saturday night at Glastonbury near morrisons, my third carnival of the season. Oh by the way i am his doting aunty (he will get embarrassed now lol)
Thanks for the message! Yes Vince did an amazing job at driving the cart. It's a huge responsibility but he handled it very well. I'll look out for you at Glastonbury near Morrisons, I guess you'll be on the same side of the road as Vince on the cart? Great carnival. I was by the traffic lights at 12:20ish. My friend and I called your name but you didn’t hear us and another man who I guess was called Ben turned around and stared at us.
Seen you dash to the gen at north petherton I was right where you had the problem but too late to shout to you will be at Glastonbury hopefully shout you there

I remember giving a thumbs up to a few marshals actually... I’ll look out for you when I watch back the footage and edit the Glastonbury video... half way up the high street right?
What caused the blackout? Will be at Glasto for our annual trip down south. Normally stand just before the Sedgemoor way roundabout. Then run through to the high street opposite the church to watch the 2nd half again.
@@CarnivalBen You line up behind 1 roundabout at the start (or start just after it) then you have the roundabout with Sedgemoor way off it then you have the KFC roundabout where you turn left up to the rest area. I know my way around Glastonbury for the carnival but as I only go there once a year I don't know much about names.
Glad that the blackout didn't last long! Does that kind of random shutdown happen often with the generators? Definatly looking forward to Glastonbury! We'll hopefully be stood by the start somewhere or near the Tesco Roundabout. Will have to try to get on camera! Haha!
Only members of the carnival club can go on the cart I'm afriad... you'd need to join in January and take part in fund raising throughout the year and help build the cart or costumes.
