I hate it too when people think that MJ came up with the moonwalk... the first moonwalk ever done was like in 1962, I saw that footage.. However MJ just gave it the name moonwalk, while it was known as the backslide so lets get that straight tooo!!!!
Taco worked with him for like 18yrs. watch him in capt Eo and in smooth criminal to the right of him when they do the lean. But even he hasn't put himself out there. understand that Michael was inspired by James Brown, Fred Estair, Sammy Davis. But he has had countless choreographers and dance teachers his whole life. If you watch him he does not look like a popper. Thats what makes him great , he has taken from so many styles and ha s MADE his own. COMPLETELY UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL. SUGA POP=hater
The name of the group he was with was the Shabba Doo crew ..It wasnt electric boogaloo till after Breakin 2 and Boogaloo shrimp taught Michael Jackson although Pop N Taco did help also ..He was one of the best and still is..Like Dude said he older now ..you try doing this at 40 something LOL

I've tried to reach him thru his fan club on facebook, but I just received a message from his siter Eileen telling me that he has read my message and that's it. I never thought it would be so difficult to keep in touch with him. Well, I'm from Brazil and I admire Taco's art since I was 9 years old and I would be glad to make contact and see him popping again. May God bless him and you all folks!!
bruno is awesome, one of the best of all time, if not the best along with shrimp. he taught MJ along with Shrimp and Jeffrey Daniels and some others. He worked with MJ even up until 1995's History Tour, so Bruno is a legend. MJ loves this guy! awesome popping!

Thats SOME and probably not all of the poppers/lockers he has worked with. He only does popping in LIVE Billy Jean and Stranger in Moscow. Robot he learned from Robot Dan(jackson five) and Taco. How bout tap? grabbing the crotch? James Brown? Bob Fosse? He has worked with so many dancers its ridiculous to even think he would ever name all of them off
Taco has plenty of presence in Breakin and other music videos of that era.I wished the films themselves were better and that we could have seen more of Taco in his prime in more follow up movies.Breakin 2 electric boogaloo put an end to that.Breakin 3 could help make up for it by being good and they should involve all the great poppers like Wiggles and popnpete excetera ,and maybe MJ could do a cameo.

honestly the first few mins bored me but after he was doin a darn good robot, my eyes locked in and he did awesome :) pretty sweet.
