Fresh Monkey Fiction has come out of nowhere and is making a impact to the action figures community. Here's hoping your wife continues to tolerates your purchase impulses 😊 Happy belated Father's Day to you Chris
Cheers Wil. Kids took me out for a fancy pub lunch, we had a lovely day. Fresh Monkey Fiction are 2 for 2 on hits for me so far (Naughty or Nice Santa and these). They are filling me with some optimism about their 6" Monster Force/Crimson Moon stuff. I think they're pretty fun.
Those figures look great but I'm really excited for the 6-inch ones from fresh monkey fiction!!! I wish Baron Ironblood would have came with that helmet for the 6-in line
I agree. Putting the helmet on the least interesting figure (to me at least, I'm sure there's folks who are into the supernatural storyline) was a bit of a blow. I've not pre-ordered it just for the helmet, I'll let my Count (Baron) Ironmoon (Ironblood) show his villainous facial hair off with the Major Noir head swap ;)
Aren't they? Loads of fun. I've had them on the shelf behind me since I got them and had a few comments from folks on video calls n'stuff - its surprising how many people remember classic Action Force.
You're welcome. Definitely watching the Fresh Monkey Fiction stuff with interest - they are regularly catching my eye. I passed on the jet pack trooper and the zombie werewolf, but pre-ordered the other 4. Long wait now though... time for some patience... LOL
They're fun, and definitely fills me with some optimism & confidence for the 6" Crimson Moon selection. I'm hoping that Fresh Monkey Fiction have got a little something to show & Joefest this weekend and my JoeBros will have a good nosy to let us all know how they're looking. :)
I picked up the Kiloworg and Goregills figures and I’m genuinely pleased with the quality of these figures. I will pick up the Legionnaire and Baron Iron Moon figures, when the opportunity presents itself. Also, this is my first Fresh Monkey Fiction purchase and now that I know the quality of their product, I will gladly pick up their 6 inch line as well!
Right? They're super fun, I've been playing with these for a few days now - they've taken up residence as my "desk toys" for the time being - gotta have something to pass the time on those lengthy Teams conference calls LOL
100% I'm loving it - suites me down to the ground and someone who was a young Red Shadows owner & comic book reader in the 80s. I think they're super fun. Can't wait for the 6" Crimson Moon stuff!
I ended up cancelling my pre-order, just the sheer amount of other stuff at the moment, the shipping cost & the announcement of the 6" versions pushed me out. The other factor is with them being 4" rather than 3.75" I didn't really have an opposition of the same scale for them. But...the more I see of them I'm questioning the wisdom of my decision!
It got VERY expensive with shipping/tax. I'll be the first to admit this was an indulgent purchase and won't be happening very often. I'll confess - I bought them as a treat for myself with my first ad revenue cheque, but that comes in at such negligible amounts I won't be treating myself for another while yet LOL (At least until I'm the Mr Beast of ToyTubers 😉) No regrets though - they are super fun. I'm also blown away by what they're achieving with 4" sculpting and articulation nowadays. It's not the start of a new 4" obsession, but it is a cute little "Action Force" display. I have gone in on the 6" ones too though LOL
Sure thing. I removed the arms (they are pegged in so they popped in & out with ease) and heated the vest a bit (with a hair dryer) to make it more malleable. Then it slid it upwards over his head. Hope that helps?

Holy crap they are awesome. The mix n match paid off tons to get the old crew back together.

thank you for putting the 6in on my radar, preordered most most of them

Thanks for review!!
You're welcome. Thanks for coming and hanging out. You got your eye on these? Picked them up already?
If I still collected 4” figures I would have gotten these. I preordered the 6” versions.

how did you please remove the legionnaire's vest to put on the pistol straps??
