  • Hiroshima, a Japanese band that's been around since the '70's, and has put out a lot of good smooth jazz. June always put's me in another dimension when she play's that Koto. Now, that's a beautiful instrument. Hope you enjoy my video. Marlon

    This Band doesn't get the recognition they deserved. Beautiful amazing song. Be rocking with them since the 80's

    This record was righteous, absolutely righteous! It is a pity that a lot of radio stations are conspiring with pop music to try and kill off smooth Jazz, man,

      Also yes, I love smooth jazz too! Same with music from the 1970's, 1980's, and 1990's as well as eurodance music (like from the 1990's decade).

    Read about them in Down Beat magazine back in the '80's but never bought their Lp's. Joined the Army a few years later, went into a PX while stationed in S. Korea. Found the Go lp on cassette. Fell in love with June & the koto. Been a fan since then. Domo arigato!

    @singlespeedfiftyfive when i was around 13, my grandmother told me about her experience at Heart Mountain, another relocation camp, from that moment on i never had trust in this government... they were American citizens who were wrongly incarcerated, and this war crime is still not in our american history books. yeah they might have recieved money from the government 3 decades later, but that will never make up for what they worked for... it was really painful for her to talk about

    • @MrCcoolg
      @MrCcoolg 7 лет назад

      Yeah, a LOT of people have suffered at the hands of Euro-Americans. That's why when they start talking all of this crazy "America for Americans" crap, I shoot 'em down as fast as the info forms in my head & out of my mouth.

    Hiroshima is NOT a Japanese band. It is a Japanese American band based in Los Angeles, California. The song Manzanar is about the concentration camp Manzanar, California. Showing photos from Japan is not appropriate, You should show Ansel Adams / Toyo Miyatake photos of Manzanar.

      @@marlonhouston6685 You SHOULD be depressed about what was done at Manzanar and other CONCENTRATION CAMPS to Japanese-Americans. That's right, Japanese-AMERICANS. "We" did this to our own people, and we shouldn't forget what a colossally evil and immoral thing that was to do. You are a fucking ignorant, insensitive, ethnocentric, unpatriotic asshat.
