That’s going to be 12 ft in the open like that. Them tighter spots I’ll use the 10 ft but when I get in the reed grass an need to reach like when I’m In Florida fishing I’ll use 12 13 footers so I can reach in there further. Appreciate you watching. Thanks
That’s a fish that drives me crazy and keeps my heart beating. You’d think I’ve never caught one if you were with me fishing. I love it every time they thump that jig. Thanks for watching. Appreciate you
Not a one yet as long as I’ve been fishing. Now stripers in the summer sometimes has a issue like that but it’s been said to freeze it before cooking an it would be fine. I’ve had a few reach out to me about some crappie having worms an seem the pics but me personally never seen it yet.
It’s a habit I got to get into. Not something I’m use to unless clients in the boat an I take pics but maybe I can post pics to help you with that. I’ll get it going for ya.
Gator, another informative video, great content. I received my 10ft ACC GS10M Super Grip today. Can't wait to use it. It will take some getting use to from my one man caiman but we will give it a go.
Great video. I like the minimum size of 11-12 in especially with livescope now taking over. I live in York County PA and there is no minimum length at the lake I fish. It's insane.
Great video. You are doing a great job with your videos and really enjoy the wealth of information you give your subscribers. So what is your favorite go to jig colors? Also what oz. jig do you like using? Keep up the good work 😃
I use Pops Crappie jigs. They are hand tied hair jigs. If I had to pick from live bait plastics are hair jigs. I’d pick hair jigs. The colors vary depending where I’m fishing an water color an what style fishing I’m doing for them crappie. My favorite colors are the natural colors are the ghost mud bug swamp bug silver blk white brown orange brown blue silver is good for Florida. Anything blue for Florida. Missippi I’m using red chart green chart blk chart blu chart last year a salt pepper color smoked then. The ghost was the closet I had to it but it took me a minute to figure them out. Florida I never used anything but something blue are the ghost. I’ve told the guy that makes my jigs for me to share my info with anyone that called him an said they watch my videos an wanted what I used. He said I was the only one that shares that much info. Lol. I want everyone catching fish. I don’t try to hog them to myself. 1/8 is the top weight. 1/16 I use a lot but you gotta have patience an pay attention to the bite using that 1/16. It’s lighter an harder to get into the grass. 1/32 I love them for trolling. Thanks I appreciate you The videoing thing I’m working on some things an trying to get it fired up an rolling in the right direction where it’s enjoyable an educational at the same time where you can use that info to help you catch more fish adding it to what you already know. Thanks also
O yea never had a problem. There’s a drop off an a cypress stump to the right looking at water but stay to left an you’ll be fine. Never had any issues there.
If you don’t mind me asking, where is this ramp? I’m a Louisiana man and lived in Lake Darbonne for years. We recently moved to NC because of grandkids. I’m planning on making a few trip to Santee because it reminds me of fishing back home. Thanks for any information! BTW, love your videos!
I can watch you all day. I can hardly wait to try this style of fishing here in NC. Just need to pick up a few handtied jigs etc. and I'm ready to go. Thank you for the wondaful content.
@@gatorsoutdooradventures That would be amazing.... I'd also love to get your way as well. Just determined to learn more fishing techniques in 2023 and try different bodies of water. Stay Safe!
That’s right. You take what you learn at every lake you fish the. Take it all back to home lake. It will give you ideas to try on your home lake for sure. Thanks and we will get together.
