    Believe it not, competitive eating does take training and acclimating the body to such harsh conditions, just like any other professional of their field. So, my personal opinion that Joey is definitely just an athlete, just in a different take.
    This video has the same energy that "Professional Gamers arn't athletes." Never mind they spend hours a day training their reflexes, body, and mind, never mind the fact they spend entire days out of a week dedicated to nothing but perfecting their craft against the best in the world. Since they arn't buff, they arn't an athlete. Sure. lmao.
