Nice tutorial. When you measure the front crotch extension you divide 40/4 you get 10 and again divide 10/4 you get 2.5 but I don't understand why you add 2" and not 2.5" if you can follow the video till 4.48 minutes you can understand what I mean.
I have my reason for asking. Like other RUclipsrs I know, they tell you the measurement they are working on. People watch a particular tutorial for various reasons. So when you teach, you need to be more detailed. I don't know if you understand.

At first she was supposed to remove band to get the crotch and the hip lines,but she added like 2 inches and later remove them ,so since it's high west like how many inches will be add for the band since it's a high west trouser, Thanks
If you listened well, I said I used 12inch for the crotch extension. For you to get your band from the 12inch, you take way 2 or 1. 5 inch . 12-1.5= 10.5. I said I replaced the band back because I wasn’t using the pattern yet. What that means that I reattached the band back to the original 12. When stitching, remove 1.5 from your crotch to use as the band. I hope this clarifies you

There’s nothing like thigh measurement in the video. Please watch carefully.
If you want to add thigh measurement to yours, come down 3inches from the crotch line. Thigh should be divided by 2.

It's for the band..you can decide to cut it out or fold it when cutting on your fabric

The waist will have to be same size as the hip. No Need for waist measurement
If your hip measurement was 10 and you added 2.5 for the crotch extension then shouldn’t it be 12.5 instead of the 12 you used?
