Last season when Tasha found out that Lawrence was in a relationship she backed down and didn't pursue him anymore...yet nobody ever recognizes that or gives her credit. I'm sick of people trying to villify this woman because Issa doesn't know how to be faithful.
Nope, not at all. Tasha knew Lawrence had a girlfriend. (He said it to her at the bank, at lunch when she had her kale salad, and when she showed up at his job trying to hang out with him for drinks). I do not care so much at all, but Tasha knew what she was doing. Why do you think Lawrence was able to go have sex with her? Anyway, it is life! Such as things happen! :)
Tasha is NOT THE SIDE CHICK. She's the clean up women. She's cleaning up the mess that Issa and Lawrence made which resulted of the demise of their 5 year relationship.
All Tasha did was show interest in Lawrence. He stepped to her after he found out Issa cheated. Y'all females are DEAD ASS WRONG !! If the shoe was on the other foot and a "Edris Elba" was checking for Issa and found out Lawrence cheated, this convo wouldn't be happening. Y'all would not be hating.
True, it's crazy that Tasha isn't even written as a fucked up "side chick" type of character, Issa had even said she likes the character of Tasha but no matter what they still find a reason to hate on her.
Tasha is NOT the other woman. He slept with Tasha AFTER breaking up with Issa. A rebound? Of course but that's her issue to deal with. People need to own their choices.
I straight up appreciated the fact that the "drive-by" sex that happened at the end of ep 1 did NOT develop into a sappy reunion for Issa and Lawrence. And what's happening now is definitely real life. Both Issa and Lawrence's characters need to develop, and all the complicated twists and turns need to/are being explored here. I believe there will be a moment of truth when the two will talk it out - at the very least, which may or may not culminate in getting back together. I have no problem watching their adventures/stories develop over the course of season 2 - including new relationships or potentials for new solid relationships. There are other strong characters whose stories will be enlarged - so much potential these creative and talented writers and actors have ahead for us - the faithful viewers. Did I LOVE Issa and Lawrence? Yes, I did. And I MUST say how that last scene in ep 2 made me feel a real sense of "oh, wow, he's moved on and doesn't want me anymore for real." Been there, done that - and KUDOS to the writers and Issa who pulled off the symbolism to a tee - clothes moved to both sides of her closet, pillow positioned in the middle of the bed. BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. This show is the SHIZNATZI! Keep keeping it real, Ya'll. I'm TEAM INSECURE! ALL THE CAST AND CREW ROCK HARD!!!
Tasha has to keep a mature attitude because its still too early in their relationships to be expressing deep hurt ,so at this point its still new and easier to walk away .
Tasha is the "step inside chick." I don't understand the Lawrence character needing to be continued if he not with Issa?? Tasha is the settling chick, she is taking him as he is, maybe she has been in this situation before herself, but from the first time they introduced her character she has always been supportive of Lawrence. #teamissa

Y do people think Tasha is not interested in a relationship? I have heard people say that a few times. She invited him to a family function!
No, she's not a side piece !! She's a rebound from Lawrence last relationship. Why would that even be thought about ?
