I really didn’t know what a Peppa Pig was either, but I was excited when I heard of a new theme park in Florida. And I was very excited when you told me you were going to check it out on opening weekend. This place is adorable! I agree that is one of the cutest entrances to a theme park that I’ve seen. The dinosaur ride, the balloon ride, and the coaster… I would definitely ride all of those. I really appreciate you bringing to light that this theme park is an autism center, and then explaining what that entails. That is very awesome, you’re so awesome! I know there will be a lot of folks searching for this information on the inter-web, and you’ve presented it for them perfectly in this video. I love it when you said that theme park should be accessible for everyone! I wholeheartedly agree, and I believe that should be the deal for every amusement park. Props to Peppa Pig and Sesame Place for making it special for everyone. The cinema was very cool I would Soviet to just chilling inside an air conditioning room watching videos on a beanbag ha ha I can see why this is going to be a half-day thing, very cute for the kiddos! When you were checking out the dinosaur topiary I was giving at the same sentiments ! It’s pretty rad. Also, you could’ve fooled me I thought you were talking to Peppa Pig the entire time lol you totally redeemed yourself by giving her a compliment though. So cool they have Dunkin’ Donuts coffee feel bad you couldn’t get it inside the park but I’m glad you found it afterwards! I’ve worked in mental health for 10 years and with people with disabilities for a while as well, I think that it’s great that more and more parks are being more conscious regarding people with autism and/or other disabilities. My nephew is also autistic and I have been looking into more information regarding that as well. It’s good to see LEGO Land/Peppa Pig theme park on board with this in mind 😊

I completely agree with you! My son is autistic and we couldn't go to many places like this when he was little because they weren't as inclusive as you'd hope back then (he's 21 now). I'm glad you are sharing places like this ❤
Love this video, thanks so much for the tour. I am a Granny Pig also😁 My granddaughter would love this place. She's a heart patient, I appreciate that the park isn't too big. She would feel like she's missing out if we have to leave a large park without doing everything all at once. Large parks we break up into 2 days, I'll tell her it's double the fun!

Ultimately, I think parents with young kiddos don't want the full 12 hour park day experience anyway, so having it be on the smaller side but still packed with all kinds of activities for them is a fantastic idea. I hope you can bring your granddaughter there someday!! :)
I'm glad to see that they've made a park where kids with disabilities can have a great time. This is something near to my heart as one good friend's wife who'd survived for over 50 years with MS was instrumental in getting the ramps at corners for people in wheelchairs in our city. Another very close friend, and former partner, also had MS and after he was forced to retire, he moved to Kiel, Germany to teach at the University. At the time, his mobility was fair, but he eventually ended up in a wheelchair. Kiel had very little in the way for people confined to one and t was quite difficult for him to get around. Long story short, he ended up in Finland where they are far more advanced in having accessibilities. Fortunately he had a wife that was with him, to help the rest of his life. But seeing how he'd struggled, and the differences between what other Nations have, we are so blessed as to what we really do have in the US!
That is a really great point and thank you for sharing that! I think as time goes on we in general are doing more for those with disabilities than ever before. There is always room for improvement, but I'd like to think we aren't doing too horrible.
I’m so glad you took the time to cover this park - this is actually the first vlog from Peppa Pig Park that I’ve had the pleasure of watching lol. I think adorable is the perfect word to describe this place! I love how it’s divided into little neighbourhoods like the pirate area and the fun fair. Also, I wasn’t expecting it to be that “immersive” - they really do a good job at placing you into the world of the cartoon. I agree that we really need more conversations about accessibility and inclusivity at the parks. I’m really happy to see that you took the time to discuss it, and that we have parks like Sesame Place and Peppa Pig to [hopefully] lead the way for other parks. Great video, as usual. As a parent with an Autistic son I wanted to say thank you very very much for this. You have probably helped so many Autism families , it is such a process to do a whole bunch of research before taking an Autistic or even a person with any disability some where and now they don't have to thanks to you 😀 I wish there was more people in this world like you and Jay you can tell that you guys sincerely care about people and you go above and beyond to help families so I don't wanna keep rambling lol but shout out from Toledo ohio about an hour west of Cedar Point. The biggest reason why I wanted to come here and showcase this park is because they do a lot for families, especially those on the autistic spectrum. I hope to talk about this topic a lot more as I visit other parks too and I’m so glad you feel this will be helpful for other families as well!!! It’s already hard enough planning trips and vacations, let alone having to worry about all the other stuff that comes along with having a family member on the autistic spectrum. I think the average person doesn’t realize how hard that is!!! So thank you for saying all of this, it really means the world to me!!!💕

I feel like your also right and that autism is generally over looked and for a long long time Dawn my fiancée and I was lost not knowing what to do with Payton. He was once so violent we had to lock ourselves in different rooms of the house 😪 and that is definitely not something that is known about Autistic children which makes even leaving the house very difficult and when we did it was hard to find places to go so having the info that you put out there is great and it's going to help out more than you can ever know. So sorry for such a long and sad response and don't worry Payton has out grew that phase of his autism but it was very hard back then and very sad how he was treated by schools and other therapy. I'm sure I'll write ya again and tell ya more of his story I wish there was someone like you back then 😀

From my understanding (I’ve written a number of college papers on children with disabilities & children on the spectrum) your story sounds very similar to many others, it’s hard for families to even get out the door let alone to a theme park, etc. It is really sad and I wish it was something more places/people would understand. I hope in the near future I can cover what Disney and other theme parks are doing for those with disabilities and on the spectrum as well. Again, thank you for sharing and for the kind words! I'm a big Friday the 13th fan , Dawn loves plants but seems to always kill hers lol so she loves your plant shows and Payton loves the Sci fi ones he loves K.I.T.T car and watches knight rider all the time lol so we all want you both to keep up the good work. Payton also loves the Disney ones , his dream is to go to Disneyland he has a big jar full of money trying to save up, he doesn't realize how much it would cost for all of us to drive and pay for tickets but someday we will make it there 😀 it scares me cuz he has no fear over Rollercoasters he wants to ride everything 😀 well take care and we will be watching you guys thank you both very much for sharing your world with us. I wish they had this when my son was younger. He's autistic and doesn't like going lots of places because there to loud or to busy. One place here was going to do one day a month for autism but COVID happened and I don't know if their going to do it again.

I wish they had this when my son was younger. He's autistic and doesn't like going lots of places because there to loud or to busy. One place here was going to do one day a month for autism but COVID happened and I don't know if their going to do it again.
