I like what your doing as for a beginner racer it's good to hear what other racers do and different ways to set up a car our track starts out slick and rubbers up as the night goes on and the car gets realy tight . would like to hear some input on that from you .

We are new to B-Mods this year. We have not had much seat time with all the rain. We have viewed every segment you have done and they are most beneficial. THANK YOU. Can you talk about gears and track size? Thanks again for your time and effort with these video's. "Team 39 Racing"

During the next segment would love to hear some on moisture and judging what the track will do. As a newer crew we fight this every week as to what adjustments to make wether adding cross shocks etc. That could be another segment. At the track adjustments.
Keep em comin. Lovin the videos. Jeff elder racing 97j lakeside

Good video BUT I have a few comments. Containment seat but no roll bar padding? The edge of that dashboard is like a sharp knife…. roll the car and have your hand or arm get slammed into that edge and I guarantee you'll be hurting. I know these interiors with the right side tunnel are all the rage but imagine you are in an accident and there's a car on fire right next to your driver's window. Can you get out of that seat and out the windshield or right side before you get burned? Maybe the young skinny guys can but can an older, heavier driver do it? I know it will never happen to anyone who reads this because we all are superhuman but think about it for a few minutes… I found out the hard way 40+ years ago when I had to be rescued from my LM with the Jaws….

Shorty Medlock Thanks for your comments. There is actually roll bar padding on the halo, but it's the style used in NASCAR (dense foam with low profile). Against the black cage it can be tough to see. If you look closely, you can see the zip ties holding it on. The sheet metal being sharp is a great point. While we do hem our edges, they can still sting when you bounce the backside of your hand off them in an impact. Something we will look at for sure. I'm not sure about others, but I always make sure I am able to exit the car out the right side. It takes some wiggling, but I can get out the right side if the worst case scenario presented itself. The full containment seats are a real blessing. It's amazing how much the help in an impact (I know first hand). But they do present a challenge with being able to maneuver inside the cockpit. It's a trade off as you mentioned. My personal opinion is I want to be as safe as possible under speed, which the containment seat gives me. I do sacrifice the ability to exit the car very quickly... But that's the trade off I guess. Again, thanks for your comments and for watching.

Wouldn’t you want to have the seat laid back a little to make it comfortable
