Hi everyone! My local Dollar Trees have not brought out the Christmas items yet! Despite that I used 95% Dollar Tree supplies and what I had left from last year and from 2023 fall. I also use items that can be easily substituted or found at the Dollar Tree. Wishing everyone a beautiful weekend. ❤ Below is a breakdown of the supplies. The bucket is from DT, the skewers I used, the cinnamon covered wood cutouts, the pine cone, the snowflake, the twine and they sell pine at the Dollar Tree just not in time for me so if you need pine you’ll have to buy it elsewhere or wait for the DT. The pine I found on Amazon is actually cheaper than the Dollar Tree pine. The muffin tin and (they sell Christmas ribbon at DT but not yet in mine), the wire AND they sell the identical bells at Dollar Tree. The entire snowman form, the tiles, and you can use Dollar Tree ribbon for embellishing. I like to put the DT little wood cutouts in the center of my bows, but I used all I had in the bucket diy left over from last year, and I don’t have any more left so I improvised. I always try to include a DIY that is almost free and does not require DT supplies for my viewers who are international or who do not live near a DT. The last DIY qualifies for that. You can always print paper off of your printer and use that instead of fabric. You can buy fabric at the DT, but the Christmas fabric is not yet in mine. ❤🎄🎄🎅

Thank you for bringing up the point about collecting and saving materials and objects and other things (as well as stuff on clearance) that can be used for decoration/embellishments. That's a habit that I need to get into so that I have lots of items to choose from. ETA: Oh my goodness, the SNOWMAN!!! Talk about adorable and festive and stylish all at the same time. That snowman has my mom's name written all over it (she loves to decorate for Christmas so much that she has Christmas decorations for Christmas decorations).
Santa bucket is absolutely gorgeous!!! I wish I could make my diys as beautiful as yours. You can blend colors and shade your projects just so darn gorgeous. I’m so JEALOUS. 🙈🙈🤭🤭❤️❤️
The moss type stuff is called excelsior... I got it on Amazon too after watching Krafty Kathy use it. It is really great for Fall crafts, but it can be used anytime of the year! Beautiful projects today ❤❤❤

Oh my gosh Holly the vintage Santa bucket was by far my favorite! I absolutely love what you did to make it so special. Of course I have a soft spot for snowmen so the snowman wreath form came in a close 2nd.
Wow! If I had not seen you paint that muffin pan, I would have thought it was an old, much-loved pan! That looks so real! Very inspirational! Haha! I bought those very same bells! I went back and bought bigger ones I liked the look of them so much. I also buy Temu only if I think it is comparable or cheaper than Dollar Tree or a really good bargain. I think the most expensive thing I have bought from them was a girly Christmas wreath for like $20. I call it girly because it is pink, silver and white and ever so frilly! I think anyone coming into my home after seeing that would be ever so shocked! Unless they went into my bedroom. I have my bedroom and bathroom in shabby chic. The rest of the house is either farmhouse or boho. LoL I love all those styles so I mixed everything up! I do not know how much longer I have and just want to be surrounded by things I love. I am 62 and have chronic myeloid leukemia. I was told I could live 10 to 20 years when I was diagnosed 12 years ago but on the last visit, my oncologist told me that the oral chemotherapy drug I was given was new and people are living longer with it. I think he was trying to cheer me up! LoL Either way, I want to be surrounded by things I love. Oops! So totally got off the track there! I was here to talk about you and turned it to about me! Sorry! I absolutely loved those jar snowmen! I think I may have to do that this year and fill them with homemade cookies to give as gifts. I retired in September and am carefully counting my pennies! I have to save them for crafting goodies! Ha! :D

Love the muffin tin! I have some vintage ones that have a starburst pattern, but they are so pretty I couldn’t bring myself to glue and paste pictures on them. This is so much less stressful! Excelsior is the dried grass. I studied Classics. I should have studied economics. Thank you for the good cheer!

For snowman hats I save my hair spray caps, paint can lids.. You can cover them with fabric or paint them. Just make a brim like you did.
