I just found out that my girlfriend has been diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme a very rare form of cancer. I'm listening to this song thinking of when I will get to see her tomorrow and how I felt when i first met her. She has made me learn that I can love someone more than myself. If I could take the pain away and endure it for her I would. I would give my life for her. Yet, I can only support her through this and maybe to the end. The last time I listened to the song was when I posted that comment. It's strange how things come full circle. I like to think she had something to do with it.

Anyone else notice that Shawn Mendes rips off the chorus to this song on his song called In my blood? Mendes chorus guitars are playing the exact same melody that these 2 are singing. In Falling Slowly they are only playing the chords and then the part they sing is the same part mendes copied. This song is too catchy to not realize you ripped it off. I recognized it instantly when I heard mendes perform on SNL this weekend. Play the chorus to both songs at the same time and then turn down this song slightly, it's the same
