3:40 is ridiculous. I ran a 5:23 yesterday so running over 100 seconds faster is crazy to think of. Well done on the race and keep up the good content!
Thanks for the feedback! I’m not 100% sure if it “actually” works but I do feel a psychological benefit from having some paracetamol or ibuprofen when I have a small niggle. It’s definitely not something I am in the routine of taking, only if things are quite bad 👍🏼
The pain was over my SI joint but the issue is actually with my sciatic nerve, so I have rehab exercises for that. SL glute bridges, nerve glides, etc etc
I’m a middle to long distance runner ,I’m looking to close the gap and be the very best ,so question after a few weeks of running 30 miles a week ,how much should I increase my mileage by
Hey mate. Volume is a really individual thing, believe it or not there's 3:33 1500 guys that only run 20mi per week and supplement their training with hours & hours of XT. Similarly, there's 3:33 guys than run 100mi per week. Very much depends on what your body can handle. I personally prioritise quality > quantity and don't thin you need to go crazy with the volume. I'd stick at 30-40mi a week and make sure to get in 2 really high quality sessions every week. Once you've done 4-6 weeks of that, maybe then look to increase to 45-50mi. Hope this helps!
@@the.distanceproject thanks man ,I’ll use this advice in my training ,and one more question I run a 2 flat 800m but only a 4:58 mile ,dose that mean I have to train more on my base training
** 1600 was paced in 4:23, #sacktheeditor **
I heard Tom Mortimer actually wanted 62's but here we are... #sacktheeditor
Quality video charlie, not bad from the little guy in front of the lens. Loved it.

@@lewisdavis4584 yep, 2:00 is objectively way way better than 4:58... you need to work on your strength
@@the.distanceproject exactly why my mile is so weak 😭thanks for the feedback appreciate it
This video came on my feed but I have no idea who you are, not seeing your name anywhere in this video.
Haha you make a great point! Episode 1 should cover the background, or check out instagram.com/the.distanceproject/
Don't go wearing full boxers under split shorts...time to invest in a thong or two. Cheetah print is proven to take off .4s😉 ....also solid running!🙌
