Thanks for all the love and support. It really means a lot. I was sooo scared to actually release this video. I feel 10000 times better now i have spoken up and i feel really touched from all the messages i have received on social media. All i can say is you people are amazing and have really kept me going...
Thank you for posting this. I have the same problem. It started when I was young. I agree with you, it gets worse over time. I wish I could show you mine girl. I heard that Turkey has the cheapest prices. I am natural as well. I have about 2 inches of hair and I always have to put a soft headband around my head to cover the spots. I will be contacting the place you went to. I am scared to travel to Turkey alone. I never got on a plane or visited another country. You are very brave for doing this. This was so helpful to me. Thank You for sharing your story. I wish you the best. I remember seeing you in Attack the Block and never forgot you. I follow you and some other UK sistas all the way from Chicago in the U.S. Black women are beautiful , you are beautiful and a QUEEN. I Love You and be safe.
PaigeyCakeyTV awesome your super brave, beautiful and courageous for sharing your story with us. But let me ask this question. Do u have to have alopecia to get it done and where & what is the name of the place????
Paige, you can use flaxseeds to make home made gel. It’s holds really good so you can still slick your hair without chemicals. When you hair starts growing back use lavender oil and peppermint oil to stimulate hair growth with your steams. (Try to do deep conditioners every month) Avocado oil mixed with Black Jamaican Castor oil is really good for your scalp... your hair will be thick and shiny... for best results, warm it up before adding it to your scalp. Always give your head a mini massage after greasing your scalp to help stimulate your strands. To help get your curls popping again, do a ACV rinse every month with benontine clay. Wash your hair with sulphate and paraben free shampoos and conditioners so it doesn’t dry out your hair too. If I think of anything else i’ll message ya.. xx
Use Natural Products and make African Black Soap Shampoo to wash your hair, Mango Butter to moisturize it and Flaxseed Gel to use as an alternative to eco-styler. It seems long, but I have afro / black hair myself and I can honestly say it has changed my life. Paige, don't listen to the haters, being in the public eye is tough and you only did what you thought was right, you're actually brave for coming forward on RUclips and addressing this. You have all our support and hope you recover soon 🙏🏿 Tutorials: African Black Soap Shampoo: ruclips.net/video/zr9D0LNVZwc/видео.html Flaxseed Gel: ruclips.net/video/os0gI1vx1tw/видео.html Moisturizer: ruclips.net/video/BChInQf9TeU/видео.html Method: ruclips.net/video/uSe_rmjxYT4/видео.html
Matthew Kardashian DO NOTTTT USE CANTU revently they added alchohol as a main ingredient and its not for preservation and it cna seriously dry out and do more bad then good
She shouldn't be using African black soap/dudu osun on her hair. That shit will dry up her scalp + hair. You really do not want to be using that on your scalp when it's quite fragile
This really goes to show you never know what someone is going through that fact that she covered it up so well and no-one had the slightest clue really is an eye opening to how people are so good at covering or hiding what it is their going through. You're brave and I respect you a lot for speaking about it, glo up soon com x
Use black soap as a soap and shampoo... Flaxseed oil as a natural gel... plus shea butter and rapseed oil or olive oil. Btw and coconut oil of course .... #veganlife 💯💯💯💯💯
Make sure you get the real black soap not the fake one.... the fake one is literally (BLACK)... the real one is brown around the same texture as Shea butter. It has ack soap is generally made from locally harvested African plants such as plantain, cocoa pods, palm tree leaves and shea tree bark. The ingredients are sun-dried and roasted, which is how it gets its deep color. Water and oils such as coconut, palm and shea butter are then added. IF YOU NEED HELP DM ON INSTAGRAM: bigboyrenz100
You literally spoke my life. Thank you. Everything you said in the video is EXACTLY my reality with my traction. I decided that I will be getting my procedure done in 2018 in America, I've been doing so much research and boom like that landed on your video for a clinic closer to me/home imagine. I live in London too North Wezzy bihh lol. But all jokes aside thank you Paigey I know how this is. Girl trust me the only thing saving my life right now is argan oil BLACK edge wax which I use to cover my bald patch. I'm so happy for you I can imagine the freedom that you must feel and I look forward to that same freedom. Like you I am not an insecure women but my traction is my BIGGEST insecurity and has me down for 3-5 years now. Feeling stuck because I can't do the styles I want to and even like you I can't even do a messy bun to go to the ships to blood fire. Lol. I am so looking forward to your updates. And I'm sure I'll run into you one day in the streets of London. Love and respect. And now you can enjoy your life with full confidence. Remember now no right styles no more girl. Love x Zion
Dr diep from los gatos near san fransico is the one of the best hair transplants who also specialises in African American hair Look him up. I also recently have had thinning of the right side of my scalp. Would love to go with him unfortunately I'm still saving money. But please look him up.
Paigey Cakey seems sooo humble and down to earth, this video was soo deep and I understand when you said about the singles ripping out ur hair because that’s what’s ripping out the front of my hairs to the point certain ones are holding on by little bit of weak hairs themselves. Don’t worry girl I could see the pain in your eyes but Gods got you x
so amazing and brave of you to share thanku for this, i had traction alopecia myself that made my edges fall out, to stimulate the hair follicles i massaged my scalp with ORS carrot oil and castor oil every night then put a plastic cap on to trap in the heat, let it sit for 30 min then took the cap off and let it soak in normally. Also doing weekly deep conditions on the hair making sure ur edges are saturated is key for growth moisture and thickness
Make Jamaican Black Castor Oil your best friend! Massage it on your hair day and night everyday! Your hair will definitely grow back thicker and stronger. Good luck with the hair transplant x
Paige, I wish you a speedy recovery and pray your hair journey goes well. I am glad you brought more awareness to traction alopecia caused by some of the methods of styling we readily run to. I hope this opens up alot of women eyes, to the fact even though these trends of hairstyles are great (i.e. frontals, braids etc..), it is equally important to care your natural hair also.
honestly I started tearing up the minute you tried to hold your tears. thank you for sharing this..stay strong and the glow up is gonna be realllllllllll girl
Blessings sent to you always Sis! I think your such a strong, brave and inspirational young women. Well done with your video, your such a realist & you have, I'm sure, helped so many that are suffering in silence with with the same problem, myself included. Thank you for being that voice, to reassure that we don't have to suffer alone. There is help avaliable. Blessings sent to you x
Amla Oil is very good for your hair, I’ve been using it for two months now and my hair is healthier thicker and longer. I absolutely love this product. And i have very dry 4b hair and i also felt like it wasn’t growing, so to see it progressing like this makes me happy! Deffo a lovely product.
CHELLA i used to use Amla when I was a young girl , I would keep the oil in my hair ; i used to go to school with it etc , felt sorry for any1 who had to deal with the smell. Now i know not to do that! Need to go back to using it , my hair used to be hip length but now cant go below bra strap
Can’t believe this way almost 7 years ago!! You were sooo brave, baby girl!!! Thank you for trusting us with your story and being vulnerable. Sending you love!🥰🥰
I’m 36 miss pagey and I started losing my hair at 11 because of post traumatic stress. I struggled for years until this year I cut it all off . No pulling and just using water olive oil aloe Vera oil my hair had grown back . Stay strong and when your hair grows back . Don’t get afraid to wear it out , natural curls not do much pulling . Your amazing by the way 💕💕💕
everything's gonna be alright God got you paige! 🙏 ....drinking lots of water, Jamaican black castor oil & biotin are my holy grails for hair growth .. for edge control I usually use Murray's beeswax, hicks or mielle then tie it down while i get ready so it's slick when I head out!
your a lovely person and I have to applaud for sharing your personal insecurity with the public. Your only human and you hurt and have emotions just like anybody else. Thanks for sharing your journey I'm sure your confidence has help and touch many. Looking forward to seeing your next vid.
You are as real as they come. Applaud this woman. Keep in mind what the catapillar calls the end of the world, the creator calls a butterfly. There are 10 million girls who will trade places with you right now. Keep shinning star.
Big ups to you bbe, I have traction alopecia too and is the reason i cut all my hair off and went natural in 2015. I commend you on your courage and inspiring many other women, it speaks volumes ✨✨✨
Such a courageous video, especially as you've been using your own coping mechanisms to hide your condition. I'm sure it took a lot for you to make the decision to share your story as well as showing where you traction alopecia is most prominent. You have also probably taken a weight off of so many young people's shoulders, so many adults in your peer group, who have the same condition. I wish you nothing but love and success for your procedure going forward. Your glow up soon come!!! Xxx
You're really brave to put this out there and raising awareness of the long term effects of tight hairstyles. As you have curly hair try not to use products with sulfate as it can damage your curl pattern. A good brand to use shea moisture they have a really good range of natural products and black jamaican castor oil is also good for hair growth which I personally mix with Amla oil and mustard oil. I wish you all the best on your natural hair journey because god knows how many girls have to go through hair damage to finally realise it's not worth it and finally treat their hair right because i know I have.
god bless you pages love you always supported you from day one you are a true inspiration yes it is a problem and it affects a lot more people than you can believe but putting it out there is making people aware that is Hope it' as much as cutting your hair off is going to be different and a change for you I know that all your fans in people that love you will see is the Rebirth as page with her or without hair you're still a star thank you for doing this mumma😙😙
Moisture moisture moisture! Keeping your hair hydrated is a major key for heathy, long hair. Put water on your hair every other day, I use a spray bottle with 2 parts water 1 part oil (I personally prefer almond oil but try out different oils and see what works for you). Silk pillow and bonnet at night are essential. Hair product wise, use natural ingredients, as little chemicals as possible. Shea moisture is a good start. Also, you're so brave girl, we've all gone through some sort of hair struggle we never thought we'd get sorted but you're doing something about it. All power to you ❤️
Proud of you sharing your dream, my daughter is inspired by you and I feel you being able to be so open is another confirmation of how much of a Gr8 person you are.
I feel you girl.. I want to cry everytime I see it.. Beauty is all in who you are. I hope all feeling this pain can find comfort knowing it's something many women grow through and that hair does not define beauty.
I have to big you up for your openness and bravery. a young person in the public eye, we can only applaud you. God bless you, hope it all goes (gone) well. Heartfelt vid,
Please make another vid to show us how it went n keep us updated with it all. Also, please can you start making regular vids/vlogs...would be nice to keep up with you, you seem like a lovely/fun person and I love all your songs too!♥ hope the hair transplant went well x
Paigey cakey I love your music and jam it cruising everyday.. But this hits home for me because I have alopecia areata and it effects my confidence and life period having to worry about your bald spots being your first impression. I wish I could have a procedure done to give me some hair back but I'm thankful for the hair I do have. I love using biotin, coconut oil, primerose evening oil..
I know what u mean with cutting or trimming with your hair, your hair still doesn’t grow just go back to the same length. I can’t believe u been going through this for so long and been covering it up. It’s so good that you are doing something about it and you are a very STRONG WOMAN to go along with the hair transplant. I saw pictures on how you look and you still look beautiful with or without hair u work it girl....can’t wait to see your wigs looking on fleek as always ❤️❤️ xxxxxx
Paige you are amazing for expressing this, I know how hard it is to do as I have watched my mum suffer/deal with alopecia for 18 years now... thank you for sharing your story and making alopecia a bit more known, I’m glad you have found something that can help you and I hope your recover is speedy ❤️
Black Jamaican Caster oil and Coconut oil; there’s a brand called Kuza they sell Jamaican Caster oil with coconut oil in Paks Cosmetics; try Shea Moisture products and Mielle Organics; there natural with none of those harsh chemicals, hope everything went well with your procedure and those products help xx
You are so brave to share this, I have heard your music before but seeing this has given me a whole different level of respect for you. I had a slight balding from a super tight weave - never ever again. Beautiful xx
I wish you all the very best with the procedure. U are a very courageous young woman for sharing your personal insecurity with us all. It is very inspiring & I'm very proud of you. God willing the procedure will be a massive success. Continue to be blessed & beautiful xxx
Hi Paigey I know exactly what you are going through as I have had retraction alopecia aswell from wearing hair extensions everyday for 5 years. I started wearing clips in extensions when I was 13 then stopped wearing them at the age of 18 because all the back of hair and sides had big patches of baldness and my hair kept falling out in the bath and when I brushed it. Loosing my hair at such a young age really knocked my confidence and made me feel very insecure.I went to the doctors and they gave me a steroid cream to put on my scalp to help grow but it just made it worse. I started wearing wigs to cover the bald patches and used Black Jamaican Castor Oil, almond oil,Argan Oil ,Coconut Oil and Olive Oil,I would leave it in over night in plaits and also stopped using heat products on my hair and used Argan Oil Conditioning treatments once a week. After two years of not wearing clips in extensions and trying out different hair oils ,my hair has fully grown back and is healthier than ever God bless and hope all goes well 🙏🏽 ❤️
You showed real courage for doing this video, I hope you know this, not a lot of people are as strong as you. Stay blessed and keep building your brand x
use blended onions everyday massage into scalp, use shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil,"strengthen &restore treatment treatment masque w/shea butter, peppermint& keratin ",mix with egg and organic coconut oil,ogx argan oil and leave on hair, put a shower cap on leave till next day rinse out use every month.
Olive oil, conditioner, egg whites mixed together 3 times a week really helped me I had bald patches as well and it helped. Leave it on for 2 hours wash it off and put coconut oil after. Hope this helps and stay strong 💜
New subbie because of this video. I am walking along similar path. Can't wait for the update!!!!! Love the humility you have especially working in your industry. Pray all goes well with your procedure. God bless
My fav gel alternative is by ORS, the coconut and avocado curl smoothie. It smells like pineapple, and it keeps my hair so smooth and slick. You are strong and beautiful. We got you 🌸
This video is so inspiring! You are so genuine and so humble and the fact that you’ve spoken about something that made you feel insecure shows that your only human and everyone has insecurities, despite the pressures or social media. So brave ✊🏾❤️ I honestly wish you the best of luck and I hope you get the outcome you want & deserve ❤️❤️✨✨
so proud of you and this is exactly the insecurities under the weave, actually if you remember the famous Slat and Pepper side shave came because she relaxed the same spot you had a bold spot at on the side so she shaved it and rocked the non symmetrical look and killed it. so stay strong you are not alone.
So many people going through this. SO amazing you decided to share your story! Good Luck! You are def about to inspire many! Stay strong, you're blessed!
Jamaican castor oil(from paks) and real natural coconut oil (paks or whole foods). When you apply castor oil its says to wash out after but it doesn't matter xx
Love how you kept it real Paigey, looking forward to seeing your natural hair grow. If you're looking for a gel that doesn't damage your hair try African Formula Super Grow Hair Gel or you could just make flaxseed hair gel. Both of which will keep you're hair healthy and laid.
This is mad because I use to use Nixon’s and lost a lot of hair and then an injury to my head caused a lot of hair to Fall out and the Procedure hurts as I got it from exact same place in Turkey but now a year later I can say I’m very happy and the pain is defo worth it, after about 9 months you see great results 👌🏽
I actually have a lot of faith that your hair could grow back by itself but good luck for the procedure!! You are beautiful and it's nice of you to have shared your story so that others don't make the same mistake and damage their lovely hair x
You're very strong young lady and you're not alone a lot of women are experiencing this and you express yourself from your heart which is a beautiful thing and I will pray that all is well and that you'll be successful in completing your hair struggle because life is beautiful and you are beautiful person in the world is a better place because you're in it and may God bless you
I understand you 100% i think being a celebrity/famous/well known whatever you want to call it is very hard because you constantly feel like youre being judged and you also feel like you have to put on.this face and be so on point... dw sis i got you i genuinaly really like you i love your music its sick and you are an all round beautiful person💕
you are such a strong person, keep your head up sis x
Nella Rose I love you ❤ *Never stop shining* ✨🌟🌠
When you admit your insecurities, no one can hold you down. Youre very strong for doing this and look, regardless youre still a talented, beautiful, strong, intelligent woman. I still hope your proceedure and recovery goes well ! Thanks for sharing :) ❤

I'm going through the same thing you're not alone. ❤️ it's nerve wrecking and depressing. I never knew you were going through it too.
Use Natural Products and make African Black Soap Shampoo to wash your hair, Mango Butter to moisturize it and Flaxseed Gel to use as an alternative to eco-styler.

Yeah of course, you can use it on any hair texture, its just a very gentle cleanser for your scalp recommended for Afro hair

Never feel embarrassed your a beautiful , talented woman wishing you all the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Heartfelt vid,
wow you are such a beautiful soul. it only gets better from here babe x

I can’t believe u been going through this for so long and been covering it up. It’s so good that you are doing something about it and you are a very STRONG WOMAN to go along with the hair transplant. You’re such a sweetheart. So open, honest and transparent. May God bless you darling xx
Wow!...I would have just done a Cassie shaved side look for a while but hope the procedures safe and all went well!

The good thing is you know what caused it and will be changing your habits to heal it. All the best hon😚
After two years of not wearing clips in extensions and trying out different hair oils ,my hair has fully grown back and is healthier than ever
God bless and hope all goes well 🙏🏽
❤️

so proud of you and this is exactly the insecurities under the weave, actually if you remember the famous Slat and Pepper side shave came because she relaxed the same spot you had a bold spot at on the side so she shaved it and rocked the non symmetrical look and killed it. so stay strong you are not alone.

Jamaican castor oil(from paks) and real natural coconut oil (paks or whole foods). When you apply castor oil its says to wash out after but it doesn't matter xx
I've always liked you from when I first saw you on RUclips. You keep it real and this was really brave, caring and sharing of you!
Still love you❤
stay strong girl your hair is beautiful no matter what 💟❄
Abia-kyarna um she has a bald patch, that’s not very beautiful
