If you remember Mama Thorpe she would play electric guitar in the Spirit way back when. There are some older black southern women who still do. Well the white Jewish Ashkenazi music heads started to have white male artist infiltrate and mimic the sound which is in rock music today. Mama Thorpe had at one point made a secular record deal and realized she should be only doing the Lord's music. She went back to doing Gospel music.
