i got this exact one last year, was annoying at first but it is just there now i dont wanna take it off. but is there any reason that all 4 brackets are magnetic? i also learned the hard way that these brackets conduct electricity for some reason, how do i know? i let the intrusive thoughts win and hooked myself to a 9 volt battery. please dont try this
I had overjet and bottom crooked tooth, so i got motion appliance on top teeth with rubber bands attached to bottom teeth. after like 9 months when i reached to tray 25 aligner, I saw gap formed on upper teeth. Then my dentist surprised my by installing both top and bottom aligners saying 1 of 86 , boy i was depressed but he said i can change those every 4-5 days instead of a week. and those top retainers have hooks for rubber bands. so rubber bands again too, i am happy but i am starting to have that gap , and my wedding date is coming closer. fml
Yeo you should coz teeth can go back to their original position 🗿 So if you don't wanna waste 1000's of bucks just do whatever your orthodontist directs you to
Here’s my experience: I had two cavities and two seilins done. A couple years later I get a distalizer. It was absolutely horrible. The pain was immense when I was getting it on and the next few days. Food gets stuck on it and here’s the fun part. You will drool when you sleep. You just will. And if you keep your mouth closed for at least 30 minutes, the second you open your mouth, a river pours out 😐 then I got braces, they were not fun, but they got better over time, then I was informed that I would get my distilizer out and get ANOTHER APPLIANCE in to hold the process. I have to have braces for two years. Don’t get a distilizer, my overbite wasn’t even all that bad. 10,000 dollars in the end and it’s just painful and horrible don’t do it

This thing sucks takes like forever to work. Then it gives u additional problems because the pressure makes your bottom back molars to move. So you basically end up with longer wait and problems. I would encourage any one to get extraction and just get braces. Got it May 17, and my orthodontist told me they will be off this September 27. However they created more problems on my lower teeth, now getting temporary partial braces for only my back teeth (molars). Another 3-4 months. Fuck. So mad. Basically plan almost a year of waiting before the real braces.
liz liz it definitely can cause problems for your lower teeth if they are not stabilized. Did you have a clear retainer on the bottom teeth during treatment with carriere?

I've had this on and a lower lingual arch and they don't hurt at all it's just annoying at times. I have it on for 6 months then braces :)

yo i literally got this put in a few days ago and it's the weirdest thing having bands without braces. is this supposed to speed up the braces time?

Run very far away from Anything that pushes or “distalizes” your upper jaw. You will be creating a situation for sleep apnea.
Pain for 1,2 years is still better then that mental pain for life for that unorganized jaw

Extraction will recces ur maxilla dont get extractions u will get a flat face side profile
