Right click on the track you’re recording to and set it as an audio track and you can route it directly to the preset channel

@@ICHABEATSthere’s no way to have them automatically go to the same track on the playlist arrangement, but the way I usually solve this is I have 2 tracks at a time that are routed to a given preset channel. This way I can drop to them without overlapping and that usually solves the problem of the playlist forcing the audio to a separate new track.
I built a pretty clean template for the recording process, I can simply send it to you
