verdict... i don't know. it hasn't broken yet
Has it not broken yet, or is it broken now?
How about now?
@@Marta1Buck still going strong. The screw holding the tensioner spring vibrated out but I screwed it back in. I've been practicing on it using 10lb ankle weights too. I'm impressed.
I've had them for over 10 years now and they were abused by a drummer and gigged regularly for a long while and still work fine. You need to relube them and retighten everything every year or so.
I probably should mention you're supposed to remove the other spring on the left pedal, these are also able to be converted into 2 single pedals like some of the other manufacturers. DW for sure makes some like that as well.
What's crazy is the price has now pretty well almost tripled since I bought mine in 2011.
Im not sure that things going to hold up mate, but as long as you can get some solid practice in its worth the money. Honestly when i clicked i was expecting some plastic bit if trash so at least you weren't just straight up ripped off.
We'll see lol. The quality was surprising. I've used it everyday. Hasn't broken... yet
I have the same ones and the only problem i have is that the connnection rods of the driver shaft feel loose and it makes the slave pedal rattle and has a wack response to hits
It has been a year since your unboxing of the Alesis Strike Pro SE Drum Kit., and you said you were making a video of you setting it up. What Happened?
Life and death has happened. It's been difficult to make videos this year but I haven't forgotten about it.
Blue Loctite for the tension screws.
Well, at least it moves!
You could try to improve in by oiling the bearings and moving parts, maybe?
WD-40 for the win!
It hasn't needed anything yet but we'll see!
I bought a 40 dollar one the other day 😂, the rebound on one of them doesnt even work and ive been trying to fix it because i don't have money to buy a good one
Mini longevity sum up reply? I can not drum at all, and my wife would like the price of these. She has a drum kit but doesn't play it anymore. I want to try playing it. But it's hard to get into it when I can't double foot pedal. For now, I just want a good china and a cheap double foot pedal. Idk what else to replace besides the heads. They aren't beat to shit, but the drums are a budget kit and about 20 yrs old. Awesome... amazing... mark 2 kit. I want to just full on replace it with a $400 or $500 4 piece, but.... wife...
Thanks! Also, tips for what to replace would be cool. It's all stock as she bought it way back when.
Watched this just to see if they actually had a 3rd beater or if that was just bad Photoshop in the ads
Did it broke yet?
not yet
Dude very noice!!!just keep them tightened.....my electric drum are expensive and the double that cane with them looks horrible compared to these lol
It's been two months and they're holding up great!
Did it broke yet?!
no broke yet

Has anyone tried this pedal on a alesis nitro mesh max?
Did you try it?
You shouldn’t, I have a step up from that kit and the double pedal doesn’t pick up some times
