I don't know about the bracket you have from Boss, but I mounted it on my roof rack using the Starlink supplied bracket that costs about $50. I like this one as it clips the dish on the roof using the tilt mount bracket slot. If I want it off my roof, it takes about 30 seconds to remove it and reinstall the tilt bracket.
