So true. I actually wanted to comment that no matter how many The Doctor had lost, at the end of the day it was just him/her and the TARDIS.

Very nice! This would be absolutely perfect with a little bit included from the Doctor's reactions to River and the TARDIS, their thing over who flies her better, and the parallels between River and the TARDIS. (e.g., "She's a big girl, this one. Always looking for trouble.")
