    Systema is incredible. The way Vladimir outmanoeuvred and beat those men looked so organic and flowing. It's amazing. The fact that breathing and relaxation are emphasized and that there are no strict forms for this art is truly a stroke of genius

    more advanced than many people see,The art is astounding the more you learn the more there is.

    This is awesome and I'm sending this to all my friends. We aren't interested in just fighting, but to survive attacks. You see, we are all disabled to some extent or degree. We are easy targets for the thugs of America. Yhank you so much. This is sooooo interesting.

    systema must be a very functional art. The best arts around are the ones that look harmless but do bad damage. The fact that systema teaches breathing and relaxation means it must be an advanced art.

    I did Muay Thai for a short period and I would like a regular fight (3x4min anywhere in the UK) with a man with experience of Systema. I am not good just curious. To arrange appointment please PM me.

    give me the time on the vid; the main difference is it works even if you are bad at it! that doesn't work with Japanese arts! also you work on the person taking away the things that get in the way of being good,rather than adding things like techniques,

    Well systema actually is more than that...really powerfull it has answers to most combat and fight situations...its a good combat style..effective...and its like the china martial arts...the older you get the stronger you get

    if only i had a penny for every time someone sees a systema vid adn feels compelled to say: "this is just aikido...it's taichi", etc. every martial art shares something with all other martial arts, for 3 reasons: 1. we all live in the same universe with same physical laws. gravity is same in russia or china. 2. we all have human anatomy. 3. no art evolves in a vacuum, so knowledge travels, and changes as it does. so, anyone else wishing to say "it's just like whatever" - please shut yer gob.

    AGREED! "fightingthebs" needs to DO RESEARCH before ASSUMING... we all know what THAT does ;)

  • @skyikky
    @skyikky 15 лет назад

    I must agree with geiki about the facts but i must say that fightingthebs was talking about aiki principal not aikido. Aiki thinking is from aikijutsu that predates systemas roots with more than a thousand (1000) years.
    I must say that systema is very different from aiki, they have no form or certain techniques wich makes it more effective.

    do you train in systema, and in some ways it is a martial art but mostly a methodology

    how old is this series? i think ive seen it about a year ago...

  • @gekiryudojo
    @gekiryudojo  16 лет назад

    well yes and no yes it is relaxed and there is a lot of deception, and no there are no kata and mainly principles! rather than technique, it works very well and you grow quick!, there is a lot of misunderstanding about sysema especially on the web, Trev

    It's Mikhail Ryabko. Not Mikal Rabko or whatever. I think this guy does not even half understand nor appreciate the honor to walk side to side with Mikhail Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev.

  • @gekiryudojo
    @gekiryudojo  15 лет назад

    How would you know? Looking at your channel and the comments, I would say that you have been wrong enough already, do some research, Systema predates Aikido by more than Nine hundred and twenty years (920) years! It is not a Martial Art it is a Methodology that develops attributes. LOL!

  • @gekiryudojo
    @gekiryudojo  11 лет назад +1

    Japan beat Russia in 1905 war! Ninjutsu is better than Systema
