- The German supermarket Aldi is known for its amazingly low prices and surprise items that appear only for a limited time, and it quickly became popular when the first stores opened in the United States.
Aldi’s in-house brand is one of the few in-house supermarket brands that actually offers really good quality products, from their everyday groceries to basic pantry staples. Unfortunately, as awesome as Aldi is, not every product from the grocery store is worth buying.
Getting your milk from Aldi is something you should probably rethink. Take a look at why you should never buy milk from Aldi.

You failed to prove your statement. Why would anyone buy almond "juice" anyways ? It has soy in it.
I don't drink milk..I have a milk protein allergy. I drink spring water from a local spring and I use it in my cooking. I do NOT eat or drink processed food, nor do I eat sugar, soy oil or foods containing soybeans, cardeegeenan, canola oil..meat..(I'm vegaterian) and so on.. I do drink some coffee, but am very picky what I put into my body. I am 67 years young, in excellent health, and exercise daily. I have no illness that require a prescription. I have a little arthritis but that is it! God is GOOD! May He bless you and yours with peace, hope and joy in the Lord! PS.. I do shop at Aldi's but only for organic fruits and veges.
Milk at Aldi is as good as milk at any other grocery store. The video should be titled "Why Milk at Aldi Isn't Always the Better Buy"

Don't buy it!! Mine used to freeze in my fridge... First I thought it was my fridge, maybe it was too cold, then I thought maybe it was because of the size of a gallon... So I bought half gallon and still frozen... Then I bought my milk at a different store and my milk was fine.. i later found out, that Aldi puts something in their milk to make it thicker... So when your milk gets to about the halfway point of the bottle, their is really less milk than the thicker in your bottle, so your milk is thinner and it freezes.... Since I haven't bought milk at Aldi, I have never had my milk freeze again...
@@mikerotonda6264 where I worked, a milk plant, we literally put in same filling line a different packaging of friendly farms. It was literally the same milk, same BATCH sometimes even as the name brands in our area. Things depend by area and source of where the milk comes from. I believe it is regional sometimes.
Aldi milk is fine. It’s over a dollar cheaper than any stores around me and tastes good.
Why would I drive 25 mins to just save about $1 tho? .......

Kemp's is only one supplier. Prairie Farms supplies all the dairy milk for Michigan. Every store gets a delivery every other day (no Sundays).
I have bought the 99 sent milk from Aldi's for many years..the only way we could afford milk and it tasted fine.

They are right about milk (& egg) prices in florida, ours very greatly from location to location. My wife is mildly lactos intalerent and if we buy from the regular stores the only ones that don't bother her are the 6 buck a gallon organic ones, but she can drink the aldi regular no problem.

When I shop at Aldi I find it to have very reasonable price on Lactose free milk. I have price check the area for my buddy , but Aldi comes out a winner this saving him more money in long run since we do a lot of shopping there on a budget
I work for an Aldi, we base the price of our milk to be slightly cheaper than Walmart. So if the price goes up, blame Walmart 😂

That isn’t fair. Where I live Aldis price for 1/2 gallon Is $1.01, the same as the Walmart here. The milk has a good sell by date and is like other milk that is higher. Your reason for not buying at Aldis isn’t right.

I'm in the East of Scotland and the milk in Aldi comes from Graham's in Stirling, its fine for same day use but goes off very quick.
I recently bought organic almond milk at Aldi's, Friendly Farms brand. It does not have carrageenan in it.
I only buy the lactose free milk there. Friendly farms. Is that milk bad too.
Yeah, check out milk prices at places like Stop and Shop. $2.75 per 1/2 gallon, $5.00 for a gallon. Aldi's crushes it on prices and the article admitted that their generic name is s pasteurized and bottled in the same processing plants.

We have 5 Aldi stores in my surrounding area. Prices vary greatly from those 5 stores. So, check the prices in all the surrounding areas around you. The higher the average income of the town a particular store is in, the higher the prices... And not just on the milk. ~Former Domestic Goddess~ 😘

I am told that in UK you cant say milk unless it comes from cows.
Instead you must say Almond drink, Soya drink etc.
Aldis milk is always cheapest when its close to ruler. (According to the mgr in my local store.) And i have found it to be true locally in MO / IL boarder
There are hardly any Milk type products that do not have Carrageenan in them.
Silk brand Almond Milk does not and a few others but not many.
We buy Aldi’s Whipping creme at 5.00 qt. Our local grocers have it on sale

I buy Aldi's milk all the time. I love it. It is cheaper than anywhere else. It lasts well.
The problem I had with their milk was that it never lasted anywhere close to the use by date.

Where I live in NJ, ALDI milk is no bargain and only 10 cents cheaper than Shoprite. BJ's Wholesale Club is cheaper for all grades of milk.
25 mins drive , that’s roughly 5-8 miles local drive . Add in gas cost and time , why do you care about that 1 dollar different ?
I’ve been buying milk at Aldi’s for years. I use whole milk only. I’m glad the price is so reasonable because it’s the best tasting milk I have used in a long time. Whatever Aldi’s price is on milk, I will pay because it’s the best. I live in SC, don’t know where the milk comes from here, but it’s better than any other.

Well, for some reason only when I get Aldi milk, my milk freezes when it gets to the halfway point of the bottle... I had a gallon and it froze. Then I got a half gallon and it also froze at about tgec3/4' the way down the bottle.... Then I got a different brand from a different store and none of my milk freezes.... I found out, that they put a thicker in their milk, so when its towards the end of the bottle, your milk freezes because the ratio of milk is very thin. I haven't bought milk from Aldi in a month now, and none of my milk ever froze again.... DON'T BUY MILK FROM ALDI

So...the "never buy" isn't because it's a bad product but because of the price or because it actually comes from a bigger brand? This video was total crap. I get most of my groceries at Aldi mainly because I'm time-strapped and don't have time to go to several other grocery stores unless there's a sale on something I need. If I pay say, 40 or 50 cents more for a gallon of milk at Aldi than at Sam's club, I figure it's worth not having to deal with the hassle of fighting the crowds at Sam's just to buy milk since I'll probably won't leave without buying a lot of other stuff I don't need. It's just personal choice.

I went into a UK store had a look around and walked out. I could buy my shopping cheaper elsewhere. Aldi being cheap is a fallacy, to give an example. The brand snobs will pay £5 for Andrex toilet rolls, Aldi sells toilet rolls for £4.99 so one pence cheaper, WOW big saving, yet you can buy toilet roll for a pound. So how exactly is Aldi cheap?
