Chris, do your Homework!: When you board the ship immediately go to the upgrade crew member and often you can upgrade to an unsold nicer, bigger cabin for 10 cents on the dollar. The carpet colors and flooring of the hallways and passageways let's you know if you're on Port or Starboard. Also the direction of the graphics always flows/points to the bow (front) of the ship. Pools are heated freshwater. Most other cruise lines they are cold, un-heated Salt Water.
Disney had to get permission to paint the color of the lifeboats to match the color of Mickey's shoes from the Coast Guard, due to safety/rescue regulations.

I’ve been subscribed to you lovely people since 2018. I was going to Disney Land With my family and wanted to know all of the facts. After looking for someone or something to read about, I found this channel. I thought you guys were awesome and I learned so much, that every few minutes or so while in the park I’d just throw out random facts I had got from you guys. You guys were relatively new when I started watching with about 17k subs I think, but I honestly thought and still do think you guys deserve so much more. You’re all so positive and kind, on top of that your videos are amazing. Anyways, this was super long but, thanks if you read this, and thanks for making that trip so much more enjoyable!
You will have a great time! They don't have a casino but they do have bingo and the individual game prizes are $300-$400USD and the grand prize for blackout bingo is $5,000-$10,000 cash! Our mum cruises with the whole family and even cruises with her septegenarian girlfriends without any children or grandchildren. Disney does a fantastic job keeping the children busy and out of the way. They mostly are in lockdown in the kids clubs and are let out at mealtime LOL! (so it seems!) I will say that the children on Disney cruises are the best behaved! The transatlantic cruises on the Magic have about 5% children. It's mostly adults having a magical time. It wasn't mentioned in the video, but the snacks and treats at the adult-only Cove Cafe are also included. I'm not sure why they didn't ask for a cinnamon scroll!
In case you didn't know, most ships have the one deck where you can walk all the way round the ship. This is known as the Promenade Deck... because you can "promenade" around the boat! A lovely day at sea. I love your secrets videos. Thanks for a wonderful day with the Provosts. :-)
I just booked my first Disney cruise today. Its only a mini cruise, uk based, from a different port than we wanted and shorter than we hoped for but we managed to book it. It was almost sold out when sales opened to us! Can’t wait to take my 10 year old twins, they have no idea.

The scopolamine patch actually made me very sick. I had been on four cruises, but for some reason by the fifth, I was getting very anxious about getting sea sick since I was having some issues that made me nauseous all the time. I asked my doctor for the patch and it made me feel worse. I was up for 2 nights in a row and even had to leave dinner (on my anniversary no less) before I took it off for the remainder of the trip. I know a lot of people swear by them, but just offering another perspective.

Cruising is my favorite way to vacation! (Going on a 10 day to Alaska this summer, if you haven’t been to Alaska...it’s a must! My 3rd cruise there). Would be amazing to do a Disney cruise one of these days! Also I love doing the animation academy in DCA, so I’d for sure be at that class on the ship.
There are the beard is looking good don't take it off. Remember let it grow long even if it looks messy then trim it with some really good trimmers so that it looks tight.

Well, as much as I love to, the Disney cruise just makes me fill with regret. If I could have borrowed Miles' shoes for a day and gotten to experience where most of the fun on a Disney cruise is, it would have been the biggest dream to have. Still it is nice to see them have their fun and enjoy it, and you could actually see poor Miles really getting tired towards the end too, I just hope he will remember these moments for a really long time.
If I'm correct. The carpet of the cruise ship let's you know what side you are on. Port or Starboard. Also if correct the DCL ships has a stabilizers to help the ship not rock so much.

The dark color of the ship is not Black, it is Monica Blue. When DCL was having a meeting about the ship, a secretary came in wearing a dark Blue skirt that looked Black. Her name was Monica. That skirt became the color used for the ship.

@@Liquidspaceman the life rafts are always huge. They look so tiny from even just a short distance away but they are seriously massive. Nautical law changed after Titanic, ships must have enough life boat space for over 100% of the passengers _and_ crew!

I remembered on my cruise … it seemed like all the characters were able to meet EVERY person at dinner on on the ship. Soo amazing.
