My English teacher was a music lover. She gave us a project where she asked us to sing and we had to provide our own minus one (yes, I'm that old. Hahahaha!) I sang I'd Rather Live While I'm In Love. Among all the students, she chose 5 of us and made us perform everytime there's a school event.

a few of my colleagues hates it when I randomly sing in the office not because of my bad voice (I can carry a tune a little) albeit only the timing. what happens is that everytime I'm in deep thought or stressful situation, I would randomly sing softly songs usually from the 90's. I guess Philippines is really different coz in school we encourage kids to show us their talents. We have this subject MAPEH that starts from grade2 til high school, where we let children dance, sing, draw, act, orate or do sports. So that teacher's will know who's most likely to be the dancer, singer, sportsman, orator, artist, actor, etc. 😄 Then we make them show it during special events at least, like school contests/competitions, intramurals, even in flag ceremonies. 7:50 I'm just lucky my generation was one of those when high schools here in the Philippines started the Special Programs in the Arts and Sports or SPA and SPS where in the SP in the Arts(SPA) we have different specialization like Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Media Arts, so on and so forth, and SP in the Sports(SPS) obviously mainly focuses on sports. By the way I chose SPA - Dance but I also sing in like Battle of the Bands, or some competition in our school or interschool competitions connected to singing, but I also participate in dancing contests, I just wanna flaunt this sorry

Again, in our school when the teacher is absent in one particular subject the sub- teacher will make either write or perform(sing/danece) infront of the room. High school life is the most fun memorable school time for filipino, you will find forever friends, you have too many adventurers with friends, experiences, and good memories. That's why graduation time we cry being separated with your friends in high school. College life is serious, you study hard not to waste your parents money sending you to college with hope you will finished degree of education as Filipino saying knowledge is best gift.
Learned so many songs at school that I would not have known about if not for the jam sessions.... leader of the band. bizarre love triangle, when I met you.... etc. salamat po I still know the lyrics since those memories became part of my most fond memories back in school.
Did you know that Erik Santos is a nurse? He joined the competition, won against Sheryn Regis... People expect Sheryn to win, but because she chose the wrong song (for me) for Grand Finals, Erik won..... There are also great talents in the market too
teachers/educators are really supportive to their students..they even give +points grades if we perform in school programs😅😅😅that is how we are trained...from Prep-kinder-elementary-High School up to college we always perform...even we have have jobs,we still perform in corporate events/xmas parties...etc... we love performing..even introvert people are urge to participate😂😂😂
Oh no waleska :(( I never really realized that but that i guess is one of the things to be proud of of our education system. There are lots of extracurricular activities: celebration of national language, nutrition month, teachers' day, Christmas, founding anniversaries, festivals, etc. And in all those activities, there are always singing or dancing competitions or intermission numbers from the students. Those events really served as platforms for the students to showcase their talents. We were lucky to have those
You will definitely like INUMAN SESSION ( LAHAT MAGALING KUMANTA) ...this is a classic drinking sessiom where a group of ordinary men were singing and they are all good...it is also in you tube.....thank u..
I amazed madam mother/grand mother in boracay! its become a vocalist band on her bar and restaurant in bora! hahaha what a vibes it makes happened!❤️🇵🇭
You'll get ask to sing in a party or any event IF only there would be a chance since a lot can sing and want to sing. Hope you could check out Lea singing Alone by Heart in a bar. It was an impromptu, she's just out with friends but since the audience saw her presence so she was asked to sing on stage.
True. It is the case in most South East Asia. Kereoke is a way of life for many folks. I used to frequent Chinese bars in Singapore and most will take a turn on the mike. No matter how good it bad people have fun.
The one with the policemen, its the way of the police to pissed off the people who were rallying against the current president . While they were shouting, the police were singing their hearts out 🤣
Grabeh!!!! Efra lodi!!! you made my day man... been laughing all throughout this video...hahahaha respect to both of you..hi beautiful Waleska..love you guys..😎😎😎
Filipinos will always have family gatherings where the aunties/uncles/grandparents pay the children to perform. It can end up like a yearly talent show during Christmas.
The policemen sings in the rally of those anti government to calm the situation. Hello Waleska and Efra I've been watching your reaction videos and it truly warms my heart when I hear you speak or sing a phrase of tagalog song. Thank you for the entertainment of your videos, GOD BLESS!
The one with the police, they did that recently. Some people have a rally, so the police have that. The other side is shouting, and the police is singing 😂🤣😂😂
I see a lot of your content about the Filipino and how they are so encouraging others to sing. For you to fully understand the culture you must understand first the food. How its so associated with family and good times. Maybe its time for you to review and taste test our food..

Did you know that Erik Santos is a nurse? He joined the competition, won against Sheryn Regis... People expect Sheryn to win, but because she chose the wrong song (for me) for Grand Finals, Erik won..... There are also great talents in the market too
'Bruh I'm trying to have my lechon"

teachers/educators are really supportive to their students..they even give +points grades if we perform in school programs😅😅😅that is how we are trained...from Prep-kinder-elementary-High School up to college we always perform...even we have have jobs,we still perform in corporate events/xmas parties...etc... we love performing..even introvert people are urge to participate😂😂😂
We were lucky to have those
Speaking of prisons, check out the clips of prisoners in a prison in the Philippines dancing to Michael Jackson's thriller en masse.
U guys never fail to give me a good laugh ..thank you !
You will definitely like INUMAN SESSION ( LAHAT MAGALING KUMANTA) ...this is a classic drinking sessiom where a group of ordinary men were singing and they are all good...it is also in you tube.....thank u..

Kuh ledesma use to be nurse until she got discovered and became a singer. They say that Filipinos were born with a microphone in their system.😊😍
You'll get ask to sing in a party or any event IF only there would be a chance since a lot can sing and want to sing. Hope you could check out Lea singing Alone by Heart in a bar. It was an impromptu, she's just out with friends but since the audience saw her presence so she was asked to sing on stage.
There are a lot of artist who has also a professional in other field imagine this
Gloc 9 is a nurse

Filipinos will always have family gatherings where the aunties/uncles/grandparents pay the children to perform. It can end up like a yearly talent show during Christmas.
Love from 🇮🇳❣

The policemen sings in the rally of those anti government to calm the situation.
Hello Waleska and Efra I've been watching your reaction videos and it truly warms my heart when I hear you speak or sing a phrase of tagalog song.
Thank you for the entertainment of your videos, GOD BLESS!
The one with the police, they did that recently. Some people have a rally, so the police have that. The other side is shouting, and the police is singing 😂🤣😂😂
Ef’s humour is next level 🔥
you are two are talkative.
I see a lot of your content about the Filipino and how they are so encouraging others to sing. For you to fully understand the culture you must understand first the food. How its so associated with family and good times. Maybe its time for you to review and taste test our food..
We hope you will visit Philippines to experience those inuman singing sessions, taxioke or singing inside buses.
Bcoz so manny filipino can sing.
Legit my uncles van has built in karaoke....we always have fun when travelling.
