1) I was reading terms and conditions on Discovercars rental website, its mentioned over there that the license should be min. 1 year old but mine is 8-9 months old will it work ?
2) could you please suggest few hotels around 10k INR for all the 3 locations you have suggested i.e. east coast, west coast and up north ?

Hi, thanks for making the series on Mauritius. It helped me a lot to plan my trip. For car rental, did you book the full coverage from Discover car online or from the counter at airport? Was there any price difference and any recommendations?

I bought it on the counter, it was costlier but there was no need for any deposit because of this.
Saurab can you please also tell me that if I opt for full insurance cover then why are they asking for blocking amount in credit card.
They would not ask for deposit if you buy the insurance from them.

Its a pleaure driving in Mauritius, the roads are very good. In some places you might encounter windy/mountaneous roads & in cities like Port Louis you will find some traffic.
How to navigate through locations ? Google map in personal mobile or they provide GPS system ?

Sir, DiscoverCars (Mauri Connect) shows prices which are almost 25-30% lower than all other websites. Their lowest offers stand at approx 10k INR for 4 days for an automatic hatchback with full insurance coverage vs approx 14-15k INR for the same period and same vehicle. So wanted to know if you are aware of this website and if it is legit? Also, many thanks for your invaluable suggestions and straight to the point videos !
I rented from Mauriconnect using Discover cars only, if you watch the playlist specially the first & last video you will get more details. They are decent guys.
