Nice Job. Suggestion............you may want to shut the charger OFF between charges. Pretty sure it will suck juice 24/7 if left on.

Thanks Dennis, I'll keep my eye on that. Maybe I can test it and report back!

I see where this is going. Next you're going to purchase a trailer for the cart and this puppy is going RVing! I like that extension cord placement. I need to get one of those.

Hey Tommy, Don't give me anymore ideas, you're gonna get me side-tracked😂 Anyways, I don't think that would work. Our little doggie would never sit that far away from us. The next Golf Cart update/video is coming by this weekend, with LOTS more additions. -Todd

I wanna ask what you think of the unit being weatherproof for winter golf but it looks like you live in a dry climate (cars in the garage). Any use in inclement weather to attest for the durability in wet?cold conditions?

Took the Golf Cart with us in the RV to Canada and back for over 2 months. Left the Golf Cart out in the rain several nights with the weatherproof seat cover I purchased. Haven't noticed any issues so far.

I just did the same thing with my 2019 Lithium RXV. How did you deactivate the reed switch to be able to keep the plug into the factory port? My port is different that everything I am seeing online I am assuming because mine was factory lithium.

Do you have to disconnect the triangular plug still to drive your cart? I just did this to mine and I think there is a relay on the triangular outlet that deactivates the motor while plugged in. Makes a lot of sense, but I’d like to be able to just unplug and go.

No. I keep everything plugged in under the seat. I just unplug the 110v after charging, and it's ready to roll!

how so? I did this to my 2018 RXV using the factory DeltaQ charger and I still have to lift the seat and unplug the triangle plug to drive the cart. I have a video on my channel showing my process. There's a factory interlock/reed switch that is supposed to prevent driving the cart if the triangle plug is engaged in the factory port, which your is, under the seat.

@@rbell944 I remember, I had to cut-out a center pin that went into the plug or plug socket. Maybe that is what "activates" the reed switch. Therefore, disabled mine to allow this.

Only problem is these new style of chargers are no where as reliable as the older bigger chargers that's the only issue I have with these newer chargers things seem to be cheaper and cheaper made as we go every year
