This house and all the contents. I hope is not left to deteriorate. Family should go in their. And take what's left. A lot of antiques. A fantastic find thanks for sharing your video.
As you walked thru there i sware i seen so many things my grandmother &grandfather had when i was little...it was crazy..so many priceless items.great video
Ugh,my bad,I realized after commenting I'd seen this cool video already.im dorry-im such a dork.I watch so many time capsule houses that I love so much.🐼
@@susanboucher9595 ...do you speak German? I only had a very brief glance at the date, but the time period is correct..Friedrich der Grosse ruled Prussia at that time
Is that a mobile home? So much there (cabinets, ceiling, paneling) looks like the mobile home we lived in when we first got married. I think it was a ‘72. We got married in 1990. This one is a bit sad. Collectibles and puzzles. The fireman climbing the ladder. Someone’s beloved stuff. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I would say its a double wide mobile home, at 2:33 time stamp of the video you see a jug of "Winter Proof" which is a Water System Antifreeze that is used for winter storage of trailers so pipes/water lines dont freeze in the winter. if there is any traces of water left in them after draining this protects them till you turn the water back on .
So sad to see so many obvious cherished items left to be scavenged or destroyed by thoughtless kids. Lots of beautiful collectable china and figurines. It looks like it was already ransacked for obvious valuables and the rest just left. Great find.
What a fun explore!! Lovely things!. The mouth piece on the old phone is actually the receiver, the ear piece the mouth piece. The "chopsticks" in the box are glove stretchers! You are a hoot!
The Outside of this abandoned time capsule, really looked good to me. The inside was messy, but I Still don't expect them to look beautiful with no damage every time.
At about the 10 minute mark that blue box has wax stick in it, and a seal... you light them like candles, let them melt and drip into a small puddle and then press the seal into it on paper usually a fancy/old fashioned way to seal a note or envelope.
I know this is an older video, but too bad you didn't find a number to call in that datebook & hopefully contact a possible family member, but it's probably been looted & vandalized by now. 😢 The way things start tossed around, it looks like what my brothers did to my mother's house after she passed and left the mess for me to clean up. I actually HAVE that silver, they missed that box....
All those books, wow, makes you wonder if they where all read at one time or someone just loved to collect old books. The cages are live traps, with seeing the cat litter box i bet the traps where use to get the cat/cats as with all the stuff there they where in hiding. Sad to see the start of a house to be emptied to end up just sitting there still waiting on the people to return. Wonder if the house ended up with a discrepancy with what was in the Will?. Great find just the same. The receipt for cemetery plot i bet was for family plots as with the old date on it, few generations for the time frame date. The hand written letter looks like a verse from the Bible from the way it was written as the wording is oddly written.
oh my gosh all that stuff, just abandoned. yeah i think we all had that same firetruck!! i would warm you up i mean i would give you a blanket, yeah thats what i meant teehee

the German note is for 75 Pfenning (cents) printed 1743 in Prussia by Frederic the Great, King of Prussia (Prussia was a German state)
Inge Potzuweit I think it dates to the 20s
