This is why SQUAD is the best division in JYPE. The cinematography looks A class. I just hope that the mv looks amazing as this. Itzy and Twice deserve this kind of quality. SQUAD and also JYPE just need better promotion for their artists and the album overall.

The girls amazing acting aside, bruhhh, this is probably one of the best teasers/videos I've ever watched in kpop and I watched a LOT of stuff. Like it simply provokes some weird feeling inside of me in a positive way even if it's creepy lol like you can tell the creative director is really into this so.

When they've reached their 5th year, with all these kind of promotional videos, they can probably make a full great movie to be in the cinema. This is pleasing both in aesthetic and plot.
The lore definitely seems to be getting darker, which is a bit unexpected, but I'm looking forward to this comeback like always! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

From what I've seen it was majority inspired by 'Animals Farm' and '1984' book, by George Orwell.
The sheep in Animal Farm represents the part of society that allows others to manipulate them. This type of animal is the representation of those followers who do not know what they are supporting but do it anyway.
When Haewon gave speech at classroom, that's quote from character name Winston in '1984'.
At one point in the book, before things go bad for Winston, he states that “Truisms are true, hold onto that!” The book uses the example of “2+2=4” over and over again to impress it’s point on the reader. If the Party says that 2+2=5, loyalty demands that this point be believed. 2+2 could also equal 3, if that’s what the Party decides. And nobody is allowed to think any differently, lest they be tortured as Winston was.
And at ( 6:18 ), I kind of thought that refers to 'Brain Damage' lyrics, with the line;
"I'll see you on the dark side of the moon" by Pink Floyd.
They're relating to the viewers by saying you're not alone in your 'differently'; there are others with similar issues who can relate and connect through that. Acknowledges that all humans share these feelings but can conquer them by coming together.. (kyaaaa^^.. NMIXX, NSWER, SQU4D, JYPE and YOU.. yes you who think differently is pathetic, fighting!!)
This story film reflects a society hurtling toward dystopia and how to fought against that, in my opinion..
Probably enough to here for randomly typing about NMIXX story film in my perception.

I feel like "OUTSIDER CLUB" talks about how NMIXX as a group is being an outcast in their generation as they somehow do not fit in each trend of KPop now. They stick out to their truth be it in releasing mixxpop and performing live vocals on stage. In this KPop world full of groups who stand out despite doing lipsyncs most of the time or depending too much on strong back vocals and pre-recorded music show performances and disregard the importance of live vocal stage performance, NMIXX will stick out to their concept and hardwork to show their real talents. They may become an outcast as other groups may feel inferior towards their ability to sing live. I actually feel that they really are OUTSIDERS. Maybe because they are too talented that they become a threat as they make new standards. Lipsyncing has been a never-ending issue of many KPop groups even from different generations and it gets worse. You can only finger count groups who can sing live in every generation of KPop.
It's like being in a classroom where you are so smart that everyone hates you so you become an outsider.
Like being the BLACKSHEEP and everyone hates you.
Look at how each member portrays the character of being the best that they became an outsider.
But no matter what, they stick out as members of OUTSIDER CLUB.

이번 스토리 필름을 보면
모두 혼자 있었지만
멤버들이곁에 있음으로써
자신감을 얻고 세상밖으로 나아간다는
메시지을 담고있는것 같아요..
역시나 예상대로 엔믹스가 검은양이였고
자신들과 같아지기를 강요하는 세상이
흰양인게 확실해졌네요!!
해원이 중간에 교실에서 말하는

보호받아야한다.
자명한 것은 진실이므로 끝까지 사수하라. 이 세계는 굳건히 존재하며, 세계의 법칙은 결코 변하지 않는다."

이 책을 읽은 많은 사람들의
글들을 읽어보면 1984,그 시대의
독재정권 체제를 잘 드러낸다고 보여지고
'빅 브라더'라는 가상의 존재를
숭배하며 살아가는 사람들을 보여준다고
하는데....!!!!
이걸 보고 완전 소름이 돋아버렸습니다
그런 사람들을 통제하는 정부와
그 정부의 지배 아래 '자유'를 박탈당한 세상
'과거의 기록'을 금지당하는 잔혹한 지배수단
엔믹스가 보여주려는 것들은 이것들이 아닐까
싶습니다..
그래서 세상에서 억제시키는 자신들의
'기록'
즉 일기라고도 할수 있는 그 기록 자체를
다루는 내용이 아닐까 추측이 됩니다
근데 한가지 불편한 내용이 있습니다.
파트 2에 나오는 아웃사이더 클럽의
엔믹스를 보고
저 책에 내용을 엔믹스에 대조하면
엔믹스가 빅 브라더를 숭배한다는 느낌이
되어버리는데 이는 주인공인 윈스턴이
지향하는 자유와는 완전히 다릅니다.
왜냐면 윈스턴은 빅브라더라는 가상의 존재를
숭배하는것에 회의를 느껴 일기형식의 글을
쓰기 시작하는데 엔믹스는 검은 양을 숭배하는것처럼 나오죠?
그래서 제가 생각한게 저것을 화형시키는
느낌의 장면이
흰 양들이 우릴 검은 양이라고 치부하기 쉽다,
그러니 우리는 검은 양이라는 존재적 한계에서
벗어나 우리만의 길을 걷고 우리만의
이름을 만들겠다...
정도의 뜻으로 받아들일수 있을것같아요
이렇게 해석할 여지를 주니 더더욱 기대되는 부분이네요ㅠㅠㅠ 정말 엔믹스는 멋있고 개성있는
그룹인것 같아요 사랑받을 가치가 충분히
있고도 차고 넘칩니다!! 엔믹스의 노력에

I love this concept so much - outsider club. It’s so meaningful to who nmixx is, a group of girls w so much diverse talent and unique charm and together they form their special group nmixx. Even tho ppl criticized them for their music and not being “trendy”, they stayed true to their unique music and self thus their outsider club
