in case anyone wonders: at the very end, the crowd enters the tempelhof airfield, a former inner-city airport turned into a public park that on a summery sunday afternoon like that will already be packed with thousands and thousands of young people chilling in the sun. the atmosphere must have been absolutely wicked really. crazy how i missed out on that!
it was there were two big crowds then, the dnb crowd on the runway and these people just chilling and minding their own business on the lawn it was kinda hard to tell them apart in the end when the rave crowd scattered in all directions
Dom - Im from Berlin and I watched you the first time last year in lockdown when you where riding through Maidenhead completely on your own with finest techno beats in your seat. I was thinking - man what a shame that there are no people riding with him, if he was in Berlin in summer everything would have been completely packed! Wow! I neeevvver would have expected dnb to draw such a crowd in berlin. I was a dnb dj living there for 6 years (from uk). I left in 2020, but dam I wish I’d experienced this.
It was a great pleasure to be a part of this event. I expected 200 people, Dom expected 400. We were both wrong. Big respect to the Berliner Police. When they realised what are we doing and how many of us are there they organised the escort for us in few minutes and helped us untill we entered the Tempelhof airfield. Thank you ! See you next year !

I can't explain how awesome it is to see what you've been doing. Decades ago, hearing jungle for the first time... well, something just clicked in my soul, and to see you sharing your own joy and passion for it is inspiring. This particular video takes me way back. I was in my early 20s, visiting my parents who had just moved to Germany, and we happened to head into Berlin on the very day of the Loveparade. They left. I stayed. The climactic statue set that year was incredible (I believe it was 1996, and I didn't count, but 750K people sounds about right)! Thank you so much, and a "Yes Yes!" from New York to everyone who makes these videos so positive!
one year ago i was in a pretty bad place and i remember stumbling upon drum & bass on the bike and i would just lay down and watch the entire bristol and cardiff episode in trance cuz it was the onlly thing i felt like doing. crazy memory
Last summer my parents were both really sick and Doms dnb rides helped me a lot during this tough time to keep it up and feel the joy of these rides. Glad to hear they are helping others as well!

pretty sure in holland this would be shut down by the police in 5 minutes. you're not allowed to be on your phone here on your bike.... imagine how the police will handle a turn table.... Also... @@touriel8943 There was a guy that came into my place of work (large supermarket) about 10 years ago, he was in his wheel chair, however at the front it had been converted with a 500 watt e-bike motor, battery and controls all into one, just look online for wheel chair to electric conversions, I know there is a guy in the UK that used to/may still do them.

@@touriel8943 There was a guy that came into my place of work (large supermarket) about 10 years ago, he was in his wheel chair, however at the front it had been converted with a 500 watt e-bike motor, battery and controls all into one, just look online for wheel chair to electric conversions, I know there is a guy in the UK that used to/may still do them.
