Am Susan from china.I am a post-graduate student major in African Studies and exchanged to Uni Ibadan for one year😝😝 I mostly lived in Ibadan, occasionally going to Lagos, and as far as Ondo State. I wanted to visit the north but I didn’t find suitable opportunities at that time.
When I was at UI, I often played and sang with the lecturers and students of the music department, although I came from the history department.😁

Yes, Nigeria we write 尼日利亚(niriliya), Lagos we write 拉各斯(lages), afrobeats we write 非洲节拍(afro+beats)。We use our own methods to convert foreign words into words that can be integrated into the Chinese character system. For example, record syllables using Chinese characters with similar pronunciations, or translate already translated words separately and then combine and connect them.😜

I met several professors at the annual conference of the Nigerian Musicologists Association who came from the Southeast. I asked them if I could follow them to visit their schools. They said that land transportation is not very safe now, especially for a foreigner like me. So I didn’t find the right opportunity to visit the Southeast either. However, my residence permit is still valid and I can still look for opportunities to visit Nigeria again. 😝Nice to know you,Norbert😁
