Niece Ayesha of Haji Mushtaq unintentionally knew the relationship between Barbeena & her Baray Abba (Haji Mushtaq). The affection & love that she had for Baray Abba, immediately developed also for Barbeena.
During her nikah ceremony, Ayesha held hand of Barbeena with immense love and affection.

Romance doesn't belong to teenagers, it can occur between two characters of any age. There is no boundaries for intimacy: what may happen when two people of different age, from opposite cultures come into a relationship with a mutual consent but how do they suffer because of their respective societal pressure and this is exactly what this drama is trying to portray. It's an excellent try to break the societal taboo 👏👏.

It takes a lot of maturity and understanding when it comes to depicting a story where the characters have age gap and a love story is to be shown. The dialogues and their delivery, expressions, mannerisms are so impeccable that you cannot miss the magic and appreciate the entire show and people behind them. Sabeena and Ehtashamuddin ji and the entire cast played their characters so well that you cannot help but love all of them. And a huge shout out to director, writer, producers, music composers, everyone for making a show like Kabuli Pulao which is going to stay with viewers for a long time! Such masterpieces come once in a while. Many congratulations Green!

"Mujhe kaun dekhay ga?" What a dialogue depicting that gentleman's pain and mehroomi....
I always thought a big age gap and such marriages were horrible and unthinkable…. But this is just so sweet and real. Before any move there is just respect and care . The portrayal of an old man who dare not have feelings for a girl his daughter age is superbly play by the actor. The natural feelings coming up between the two slow but oh so steady. The writer did a great job showing the h helplessness of a man in 60s…. A husband who cannot proclaim his wife bc of age difference. I don’t watch Pakistani dramas but im glad i saw this

He is a drama director aswel.He is frm an 1947 urdu-speaking migrant family frm India but playing a punjabi character wid perfection. He directed partition time drama Angan wich was an adaptation of famous novelist Khadija Mastoor's(she was born in UP & moved to Lahore aftr partition) novel of the same name.
Saw him 1st in Yakeen Ka Safar he was superb

I never understood why women go for older men I always thought it was money but seeing Haji Sahab I understand we have option to be kinder and gentler with age. This drama is more than just culture there’s great moral and human lessons in this drama. Haji Sahaba character is truly amazing

I never thought I would watch Sabeena after the negative role she played in Tere Bin. I am so glad my friend convinced me to watch. Oh my gosh…she is fabulous as Barbeena and Mr. Muhammad Ehteshamuddin…What an immensely talented team of actors. They are flawless. It doesn’t feel like that are acting. 👏🏼 👏🏼

I was heartbroken when Raqeeb Se ended because Kashif Nisar's work is art that one never gets tired of. But now we have Kabuli Pulao and so can't wait for the coming episodes 😊

Everything in the drama was beyond perfection except graveyard scene where Nadia Afghan didn’t wear Dupata on her head. Normally in our culture, specially in the society (depicted by the drama) , women wear dupata on Head when they visit graveyard.
Except this scene, everything was so real in the drama. Specially whole wedding costumes of the actors, just amazing.
I guess this drama will be turning point in the acting career of Sabeena. She performed so well. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

Barbina actress acting is so simple, so pure that it does not look like it’s a drama. The innocence, the language, the expression from her eyes, all are hands down TOP NOTCH than any other so called top actresses of Pakistan. She is awesome. Haji Saab actor role is done v well.
