I actually stayed at Cecil Hotel while I was in LA and it was creepy and super shady. The elevator would go up and down even when no one was in it and it would randomly stop sometimes. The higher up you went, the quieter and creepier it became. It was like completely deserted. Just thinking about that place gives me the chills.
My mom has these really creepy glass mannequin heads on top of a bookshelf. I've never really liked them, but there's nothing I can do about them, my mom won't get rid of them. There are two, one that is clear, and one that is black. I don't mind the clear one, but the black one really creeps me out. A couple of years ago something happened that made me dislike the black one even more. The heads are always facing the same direction, and nobody in my family is tall enough to move them without a stool, but one day I was sitting a few feet to the right of the bookshelf at a desk (the black one is on the right, but it's always facing forward) I glanced towards the head and it was staring right at me. I rushed to tell my mom and she gave me a bunch of rational solutions. It was fine for a couple weeks until one day I was upstairs in my room. I decided to go downstairs, so I walked out of my room. I glanced in my mom's room and, looking away from me out the window, was the same black head. But this time it had a black glass body that matched the head. It continued to stare out the window, while I ran down the stairs to tell my mom. The creepiest part is that she was in the backyard. From the window that it was looking out you could see right where my mom was sitting.

I make mine wear my stereo headphones (yes, no ears - that's the joke 😉). If it's any consolation, it's actually *purple* glass. Easy to see when held up to a light. 👍

She was described as very loving, funny and family oriented. Creepy, right?
