Lol, after 18 years, it appears that Crimson Kid has gone from late-game boss to picking on rookies with a single day of experience. I hope the remaining Phatom9 members can put more of a challenge.
I remember playing TXR 3 on PS2 and I loved it. Compared to NFSU2, there are a lot of features it didn't have, but what it did have, it did right. Glad to see it hasn't changed much. Even the music is reminiscent of what I remember. I don't see a temperature gauge though; I remember in TXR3, your car could overheat. If this comes out on Series X/S, I will get it.
I hope they dial up the difficulty in the final release and it's not like the last game ITC where I 100% it while barely having to pay attention to the road.
I used to play an old psp game by genki when i was real small. went by street supremacy. years later they release this, looks so much like street supremacy. cant believe it.
I recommend buying it now because when early access is over, you can get the full game at no cost the game has a bit over half the progress to unlock, plenty of stuff to do and your feedback can definitely make a difference it's all Genki wants, feedback to make it a better game for everyone
@@TheCommandant-wb9tv no no, what I mean is that when it gets fully released, it'll be a bit more expensive, due to the rest of the content being added buying the early access means that when it gets released as a full title you can, like, upgrade it to the full game
@@chief117s15 if you don't get what the game is about, it's not necessary to hate on it this is just like the previous games of TXR/shutoko battle play txr zero for the ps2 with patience and you'll see what you're missing out early access means they can make it work for all the audiences, just let them cook, give it a chance
You probably won't be able to appreciate what a game this was if you weren't around at launch. It was stunning at the time and had mountains of character. Yes the handling was a bit poor but the gameplay is understood once you try it. Progression was done perfect too. But extreme racer 2 had better soundtrack. We need more remakes like this of older games. Not all will hit with everyone however
I'm happy you guys feel the nostalgia! I never heard of that game and will consequently not appreciate. But i know the feeling of a loved game being remaked, if that is what the case is here.
the game is alright I guess, engine sounds makes me fall asleep and the rivals name are goofy as hell lmao. But cruising in this game is gonna be fun once the whole map is unlocked
I honestly don't get the hype. The game looks ok, the audio is crap, especially the engines, and the gameplay is an absolute snoozefest. Nightrunners absolutely blows this out of the water.
I get it, that's kind of the thing with TXR. You either get sucked in the gameplay loop and grind and you have a good time, or you don't and it gets boring fast. I personally love it but I totally get why some might find it way too repetitive.
This is what the gamers want. Even Early Access already this good. Hope no online mode only in this game and I sold. Imagine just to go online to play single player mode smh.

Great timing. I was just re-watching Initial D on Prime Video
I play this game on Dreamcast what a nostalgia
Watching this to calm myself after TXR 2025 has been delayed in Canada.
Heyyy, you enjoy the professionals content and txr? You sound like a pretty cool guy ♥️
yeah, looks like an ongoing trademark dispute according to their english twitter account
Watching to calm myself because I delayed building my pc and selling my console…never buying consoles ever again.
The dynamics and aesthetics of this game remind me a lot of the fast and the furious: Tokyo drift on PS2, I love it.

This is just as simple as previous TXR games. Nothing fancy

it makes sense once you realize genki took part in creating the first two WMMT games
CERTIFIED GENKI MOMENT
I just bought this game a while ago. Loving it so far. Better than all the AAA slop that's been coming out since the last decade.
the bgm is also nostalgic especially the bgm of garage is from txr 3 and aero is from the first txr. well played genki
Absolutely one of my favorite childhood racing games of all times. Good to see it making a return. Def gonna get it
Racing games are back, baby! As in, the classic style of racing games. With all that lovely freedom of travelling the open road, like it's a dream!
Original music is back too! 🔥

Whats your opinion on the game so far ISAD?
As soon as it arrives on the Xbox. Day one purchase!
Sadly us Canadian did not got the early access due to legal issue.

Maaaaaan i hope they release this on consoles
Wow I haven't seen the Genki logo since jade cocoon.

They should release it on consoles as long as it’s not switch
This game has the potential to work on Switch. This game is greatly optimized.
later this year they would release it on consoles after the 4 months of early access
i know its gonna be more about JDMs, but i hope they have the japanese supercar trio of NSX, R35 and LFA.
Previous entries had Nsx, R34, Porsche, Viper, and Corvette so R35 and LFA don't seem ridiculous to include.

why i had a feeling, if they manage to mod this game and making truck driver run 400kmh

No
Sadly no Genki didn’t have a big enough budget to recreate Cockpit views unlike Import Tuner Challenge what released 18 years ago.

Wangan midnight without anime Characters
In txr 3, they literally have aura at points 😭
