The timeline is of course not showing every detail. You gotta learn to read between the lines in very short series . In this case Nami probably been saying no to meet up many times due to being busy. I hear this argument all the time but with the frequency of cheating storylines you can hardly say that is based in reality. Never mind how the cheating is portrayed. I don't know about you but where I'm from although cheating happens, these shows will have you believe its prevalent in 9/10 relationships and everyone is at it for the flimsiest of reasons. Therefore, it's insane to bring 'reality' into this as a justification as even in reality this is way over the top. Imagine if every asian drama had a love interest that was a serial killer. Serial killers exist but even you would have to admit that would be an overrepresentation not based in actual reality.

I can see from the intense comments ( which includes myself), that this series has touched on a sensitive topic of infidelity. I think it also shows that all of us as viewers really fell in love with the story of Nami and Jaemin, with the 2 amazing actors portraying them so well on all levels. We all want to be able to have a loving relationship such as these two have portrayed, that is faithful, honest, passionate, loyal and uplifts each other by being together, no matter what sexual orientation. So when that is threatened in the storyline, by an outsider, whether it be the girl trying to break them up, or the third wheel who comes onto Jaemin despite knowing he is taken, we naturally get protective of Nami and Jaemin. There is more to the story in the uncut version that gives it further meaning. As I’ve said previously, trust is everything and without it in a relationship, bad karma happens every time with unfaithfulness, no matter how “delicious” the temptation is. Hopefully the storyline will save Nami and Jaemin from losing each other because of a momentary weakness.. moral of story: let’s be kinder, more loving and loyal to our other half and always always always communicate! And kudos to the amazing cast and crew that have given us this very special series…

I know they'll find a way to make it so that he 'hasn't' cheated but they always conveniently forget the lead up parts that they leave in or don't explain away like for example if the bed scene turns out to be a dream, he's still fantasising about someone else, did not dodge the kiss and is still seeking and enjoying attention from someone else. You can't have it both ways. It's difficult to sell them as meant to be and only have eyes for each other when one of their eyes are wondering. This is why characterisation is important. DO NOT SACRIFICE YOUR CHARACTERS FOR PLOT!
Very interesting. He's quite prone to cheating atp. The most important is that he didn't 'dodge' the kiss. He didn't push him or nything. My eyes might be playing me but I saw him pucker his lips to peck him back. He didn't initiate but he's borderline cheating+ emotionally cheating even without the bed scene. He's a red red flag. Looks can be so deceiving People kept passing judgements on Nami because he comes off as frivolous and flirty but turns out he's so loyal and devoted. He didn't waste a second in cutting off Sol even after the break up. He's gold but was thrown mud at again n again. I don’t think it was a coincidence that Taeha showed up at the same cafe and same TIME that Jaemin was there. Jaemin texted Nami that he was by Nami’s house so I feel like Taeha was definitely either given information by someone (like Sol) that Jaemin was there, or he’s keeping tabs on Jaemin himself. It feels way too much like a set up. He definitely has an ulterior motive. About the kissing scene, it may be just my wishful thinking but what if it was a manifestation in Jaemin’s head of what it would feel like if he kissed Taeha and gave into his desires. I noticed the camera panned out to show a bottle of alcohol that was blurred but still visible like maybe Jaemin went home alone and just got himself drunk. It’s a stretch but I feel like showing that bottle of alcohol was intentional. We’ll see what happens next episode. Oh and please drop the full OST! We need it! All the songs are soooo good 🥹💙

I don't know about you but where I'm from although cheating happens, these shows will have you believe its prevalent in 9/10 relationships and everyone is at it for the flimsiest of reasons. Therefore, it's insane to bring 'reality' into this as a justification as even in reality this is way over the top. Imagine if every asian drama had a love interest that was a serial killer. I’m so pissed. it’s Jaemin who was jealous because Nami saved his mother’s name “honey” but he’s the one who literally cheating on his boyfriend
I can see from the intense comments ( which includes myself), that this series has touched on a sensitive topic of infidelity. I think it also shows that all of us as viewers really fell in love with the story of Nami and Jaemin, with the 2 amazing actors portraying them so well on all levels. We all want to be able to have a loving relationship such as these two have portrayed, that is faithful, honest, passionate, loyal and uplifts each other by being together, no matter what sexual orientation. So when that is threatened in the storyline, by an outsider, whether it be the girl trying to break them up, or the third wheel who comes onto Jaemin despite knowing he is taken, we naturally get protective of Nami and Jaemin.
There is more to the story in the uncut version that gives it further meaning. As I’ve said previously, trust is everything and without it in a relationship, bad karma happens every time with unfaithfulness, no matter how “delicious” the temptation is. Hopefully the storyline will save Nami and Jaemin from losing each other because of a momentary weakness.. moral of story: let’s be kinder, more loving and loyal to our other half and always always always communicate! And kudos to the amazing cast and crew that have given us this very special series…

I know they'll find a way to make it so that he 'hasn't' cheated but they always conveniently forget the lead up parts that they leave in or don't explain away like for example if the bed scene turns out to be a dream, he's still fantasising about someone else, did not dodge the kiss and is still seeking and enjoying attention from someone else. You can't have it both ways. It's difficult to sell them as meant to be and only have eyes for each other when one of their eyes are wondering. This is why characterisation is important. Very interesting. He's quite prone to cheating atp. The most important is that he didn't 'dodge' the kiss. He didn't push him or nything. I don’t think it was a coincidence that Taeha showed up at the same cafe and same TIME that Jaemin was there. It feels way too much like a set up. He definitely has an ulterior motive.
About the kissing scene, it may be just my wishful thinking but what if it was a manifestation in Jaemin’s head of what it would feel like if he kissed Taeha and gave into his desires. I noticed the camera panned out to show a bottle of alcohol that was blurred but still visible like maybe Jaemin went home alone and just got himself drunk. It’s a stretch but I feel like showing that bottle of alcohol was intentional. We’ll see what happens next episode.
