Love both the 1970 and the modern Challengers. Was never a fan of a vinyl roof on any car. It looks terrible and cheap and ruins the car in my opinion.
Kicks the 70’s ass in every category except looks and that’s only an opinion. The modern Challenger is heavier and bigger but had to be as it was built on the Charger’s LX platform plus all the safety requirements made it bulkier. I’m not complaining as we got the closest thing to a modern E-Body with a ton of performance models available. Actually we got something I never thought possible back when I was in high school in the early 80s: We got to live through a 2nd American Muscle Car era with the Big 3 all representing incredible cars and incredible performance! I’m very pleased with that and could care less that a modern Challenger is bigger than an original E-Body.
The one one thing that I could never understand is why Chrysler made a 4 door Charger, the Charger is known to be a 2 door car, when they made it a 4 door somehow the look that Charger has was lost in translation, not like the Challenger,.if they were going to make a 4 door car, they could badge it as the Avenger
The manufacturer built these cars as cheaply as possible, while maintaining the lowest quality standards that were acceptable at that time.O.E.M indeed.
The craftsmanship is unmatched at Graveyard Carz
Mark is a very talented n smart-ass but great teacher ..thumbs up to grave yard carz
But he apparently isn’t good in maths…: from 78/ 79 to 2021/ 2022 isn’t 28 or 29 years, right?!
Seemed a shame to cover up that beautiful paint with a vinyl top but, originality is what’s important here.
Seriously how could you NOT want a RT Dodge 70' Challenger 440 6pk 4sp in plum crazy
Had one .. White interior pistol grip 4 ..bought it for 800.00 in 1979..
The guys should get to know the newer versions of the Challenger right now so that they have the knowhow to restore them in the future.
I miss the new episodes... maybe production will create a new online Graveyard Carz...
👍👍👍👍👍
I realized Will has never changed since he started working for Mark, besides growing his hair, that’s it lol
Future proves Past via Plumb Crazy Purple.... 😎
