My board was slightly different. I wired everything the same except DID NOT connect anything to the DCM terminal. Doing so caused a short where limit switches would activate output pins. I just connecting what would normally go into DCM terminal to negative on the power supply.
it is very dangerous to use NO, this means that the circuit is open and when the limiter is activated it closes and gives a signal, but if one of the wires of the limiter is broken, the circuit will never close again and the axes of the CNC will collide. with NC limiters it is exactly the opposite, the circuit is closed and gives a permanent signal to the controller and at the moment of activation the circuit opens, so the controller knows that there is a problem and stops the CNC, also if for any reason the wires are interrupted, the signal is cut and the CNC is cut again it stops.
@CNCEVOLUTION perfect explain sir thank u. One more question, need to put home switch or posible to use limit switch as a home switch also?? I do a seri( not pararel) conection switch. NC pin SW1 to In1 - Com pin SW1 to NC pin SW2, com pin SW2 to GND mach3. One switch on x++ other one on X--. It posible to make the switch X-- As home switch also? And its good wiring?? In1 and gnd?? Or in1 to 5v??. I seebon your video is in1 to GND and make check list on active low. Thank u
@@botak333 in the current video I used 2 switches, one at each end of the Z axis, but you can put them on any axis and yes, each of them can be configured as a limit switch and as a home switch from the mach3 software, the physical connection can be done at one of the pins IN1 IN2 IN3 or IN4 with the DCM pin but with the condition of setting the mach3 software correctly. for more information see that I made videos with all the axes of the cnc.
if you guys think this is actually work, no its not. but as an exchange you can use active low pararel switch by put 1k resistor between 5v and IN1, than use this schematic for IN1 and ground Edited: i just realized if the mach 3 optocoupler power source was from 24 v, so yeah, its already being pararel at the first place by using IN1,IN2, and so on as a ground for switching (HIGH and LOW) the optocoupler

Multumesc de informatie!

What is deferent using NC or NO switch?? Wichone is better?@@CNCEVOLUTION

if use peoximity sensor is same wiring ??
no
aynı limit switch ürününü smc4-4-16a16b ye istiyorum. lütfen yardımcı olun eksenler vuruyor. smc4 paneline limit switch istiyorum.
Scam?
