Congratulation! This one is a real good value for money. I bought one recently and I enjoy playing it everyday. It's not loud but gently sweet. You'll need a good set of high quality string to bring the best out of it. So far I have tried D'Addario EJ45, which seems to suit it quite well. Also, for the 3rd (G) string, I use Savarez plastic wound, which makes it a lot brighter. Although it is commonly said that it is for beginners, I personally think it is good enough for players up to Grade 6.
Most Yamaha acoustic guitar is made in Indonesia, I bought a second hand yamaha acoustic guitar CG-101 made in Taiwan for around A$75 , which normally priced around A$200. It’s solid spruce top with nato back and side with rosewood finger fret. The sound is excellent compared to lower model, though it’s a second hand guitar, but when it comes to well maintained acoustic instruments, the older the better. If possible, find used guitar if it is in higher model and still in good condition than buying a new lower base model with the same budget, and save for future purchase of a new instrument, possibly on higher model than we currently have
You are right there. Guitar is like violin, the older is the better, provided the neck is still straight and the soundboard is not bulging at the bridge. Also, it should be good reliable brand. Yamaha is a good one.

I didn't get the tuner in the box why?
I think what I got was a Gig maker bundle, it came with the tuner. What you purchased may be different.
Where is the serial number location?
For me, it's place on the bottom of the box, mate! Hope this helps!
