This song gave me force to wake up and go to school, to beat depression, last year. During weeks, this was the only song I listened. It took a while to stand up, completely well, but now I'm ok. I could never thank twenty-one pilots enough for this. But thank you, sincerely. I don't know where I would be if I had given up.

Whatever colossal calamity you think has ruined your life forever... I promise, it hasn't. I will tell you what HAS ruined my life and my younger son's life... The death of his older brother on December 2nd, 2021, by his own hand. He would've turned 30 on Christmas Eve. We're completely destroyed. Month four without him is excruciating. No mother should have to bury her child. Hang in there. People care. What I would give to have one more conversation with him or one more hug.

There is nothing more beautiful than looking upto a beautiful halo around the shining sun after a catastrophic storm just like how you fought against your difficult times. After my mother found out she had cancer, the first thing she wanted was to go back to her hometown. The news and the fright moved her so much, me too but I couldn't show that I was worse than her after having lost my father recently and she couldn't stop thinking that I would be alone in the world. Through the bedroom window I looked at my mother every day in the hospitalization room and I couldn't do absolutely anything to help, you know when you want to do anything to change a situation but you feel powerless. It was painful just to look, I would leave the room and go to a reserved place and break down crying if I could I would change places with her. She was a warrior, after the first exam when she found out everything and they said she only had four weeks to live, she couldn't stop smiling even though she knew deep down that each day was a goodbye. Mom, you must be with my dad right now and know that you are missed and I love you both so much, not a day goes by that I don't think of you.

It’s 2023 and I still think this song is the best off the album just as I thought in 2015 when this album came out. Nothing will ever change my mind. This song was so beautiful to me because it reminded me of when I was in my hometown. I was just a kid back then in middle school trying to survive. I grew up isolated, bullied, and angry in school and at home where I lived. I remember replaying this song over and over again on the bus ride to and from school because sometimes.. it was the only thing that got me through my entire day. The lyrics always felt like I was having a conversation with myself about being the light within all the darkness trying to gnaw at me constantly during my childhood and development. The background tune every time Tyler stops singing always sounded so beautiful because it just feels like you’re in a rocket ship in space making friends with the stars. Hence, I could imagine that and I can be taken away to some other place in the nooks of my mind for awhile. I wish younger me could see that it got better. I am nearly in tears writing this comment because while I am listening to this song… I am living in a whole other town and I’m living an entirely different life. My adult life has been so much brighter and nearly just as amazing as this song. I still will always hold that younger me who has a small little flame somewhere deep inside dear. I still don’t think Tyler and Josh will ever understand just how much their music and presence has impacted me over the years. I am planning to get a tattoo soon based off another song of theirs that is extremely special to me as well. It may sound cliché but I’m doing it because this band saved my life. I love the fandom who has stuck around all these years and I love you, Twenty One Pilots.

A year ago last week sometime, I heard Stressed Out the first time. I'd never listened before because I thought any band with a song that popular was overrated. Well I decided to give it a try, and was amazed at the meaning. I found House Of Gold the same day. Within a week I had listened to the entire Blurryface album. A month later, I was familiar with all their albums except for Self Titled. A couple months later I had nearly all their songs memorized, and even have listened to No Phun Intended several times. Yes, Stressed Out introduced me to Twenty One Pilots, but no, I am no less a fan than anyone else here. |-/ Stay Alive

This has to be one of my favorite songs from them. I just feel like it's so unique. My parents even love it. Tyler just describes so much of our lives. I love it. It's amazing, and some people say ''Tøp sucks'' because they only heard Stressed out. They are just haters. They don't even know their songs.

The funny thing is that stressed out was never even my favorite on the album even if it is good, and it doesn't help that they are overplaying it on the radio, I mean I'm happy they're starting to get the size fanbase they deserve but when songs get overplayed it makes me a little angry and I don't like to listen to the songs as much anymore, and I like the idea of heathens because it's true, the fans like to separate into old fans vs. new fans and I've been a fan for a while now and I understand that they get mad at the people who JUST became fans from stressed out and the fact that they try to call them fake fans but I also understand the fact that if you like the music, your technically a fan, the only thing I would be angry with is if someone new came in trying to say they are a huge fan when they've only listened to some of Blurryface because that's not their only album, all in saying is that they shouldn't be judged based on one song because their music is very diverse
