Often called the best thermos / travel mug on Amazon, can the mighty Zojirushi stand up to the heat retention claims it makes on the website? Today we do a hot and cold liquid temperature test with the Zojirushi travel mug to see just how good it is. Can it beat out the Yeti, and Thermos brands? Is this the best vacuum sealed travel mug on Amazon?

Every other review I see says the name like "Zoe gee roo she" (roo vs your ruh) but I don't know Japanese so can't say if that's accurate

The thermos was full
Any air in a thermos will absorb heat until it reaches thermal equilibrium. Then, it will perform as if the thermos is filled with one material at one temperature again
Does anybody know if whiskey can be safely carried in a non-stick lined thermos?

I don’t look at the heat or cold length but sealing ability on knocking around in bed like those with handbags. Is it better than Contigo west loop. They’ve been classed as the best gif not leaking. I’m trying to get those when the price is right at mo very expensive but my byrons are on way out So need soon
These have excellent leak protection. I've never had as much as a drop escape mine.
Witch size did you use in the test/video?

The open lid has some sideway play like its loose or poorly made in mine. Does that happen with yours?
Can't say I've ever experienced that on any of mine... maybe return it for a replacement?

I want one without a flip top. I HATE my Contigo, it's NOT easy to clean and continually builds inner slime and bacteria on that inner spring and in hidden corners! Uh! 😡🤬🤮👎👎👎
When making videos, please show details on if it's autoseal or not, flip-top or whatever, how it's cleaned.

But at the time of posting, every piece was dishwasher safe. Lid components top rack only.

The thermos shown is top rack dishwasher safe. This video is also years old...

The thermos came with washing instructions. This thermos is also years old you do realize.... right?

Zojirushi is made in Thailand
@@Old.School.Ronin.01 Yes, I bought one last year. It's made in Thailand. But some of the models in my store were also made in China. I bought the Thailand variant.
@@wabisabi7755 Oh really. The ones that i have seen in Australia are all Made in Thailand from what i recall & the Tiger ones are either Made in China or Made in Japan (more expensive).
