Can someone explain why African Americans mispronounce some words : aks instead of ask, ValentiMe's Day instead of ValentiNe' Day.... is it some sort of slang or is it mistake that becomes habit ?
It is a passed down thing dating all the way back from slavery. But I would say to look up education for slaves and you could kind of connect the dots because it is a lot to explain.
