- Our first goldfish spawning experience, caught us by surprise. After some research, got around 55 goldfish fry hatched. Very happy with it and very exciting to learn how to take care of them. stay tune for updates in few weeks

Do the eggs need a filter ? I separated them but the filter is kinda heavy like it’s not a light filter & im scared they’ll go in

My goldfish laid eggs for the first time . I found few eggs and kept it to hatch in a separate container . But Iam not sure what to do next. So if they hatch ,what do i feed them and when.

What is the aquarium salt for? And how much do you use? I just had my first batch of (unexpected) goldfish and I'd like for them to have the best chance!
1 teaspoon per 5 gallon. To keep the baby brine shrimp alive longer. But now I don’t put anymore. Just change 50% water everyday is ideal
I have a few eggs in my bucket, what temperature do I keep them at? Please reply ASAP!
I keep them in room temperature is fine. Hatch faster if it’s warmer.

room temp should be fine, you can put heater, the warmer the faster they hatch
8 days later after posting the first comment,I now find baby goldfish swimming about in my fish tank,They swim fast,Much faster than the adult gold fish,They swim of sooooooooooooo quickly,Looks like the other gold fish is right at the bottom of the fish tank,Looks heavly pregnant,Looks like im have more baby gold fish swimming about next

@@tj_865 the eggs will hatch 3 to 9 days (depends on the temp) start hatch baby brine shrimp after they hatch, don't feed them till they free swimming (still haven't develop their mouth, and have their egg sack to consume). feed them baby brine shrimp every 4 hours or 3 times a day, 50% water change daily. can feed them chopped bloodworms when they grow bigger, steam eggs too. i have some video about it. thanks for watching. good luck

Question: when they were chasing each other laying the eggs, how would you know that the female is fully running out of eggs so that we can separate the parents from the eggs?

How long does it take them to hatch. My goldfish laid some eggs about 3 days ago. I found 4 that are fertile and moved them into another tank to hatch.
not sure if you still need help but it can take up to a week depending on the temperature of the water

Most likely not. When animals have babies in bunches it's normally because most of them won't make it. But you can get lucky and and get all fertile and healthy batches here and there.
