This is what I don’t like about the Report System in this game. Players can just up & report you just because they’re salty that you beat them, they just file the report & boom you’re in For Glory hell but they have no REAL reason at all. That’s one of the things that sucks about being a Good Player. Scrubs can’t handle when you cut through them like Butter so they try to bring you dont to their Toxic Level.
Well, if they can't beat you in the game, they can beat your mental stability to dust by dragging you down to the shadow blacklist where their kind thrive. In the end, they always try to find some way to make you take an L.
The funny part is that no matter what your reason was for the report, the result is always this terrible blacklist. You can get away with modding online and cannot even be banned from playing. I abused the T-pose Kirby glitch online for shits and giggles in Casuals, 1-shotting people in the teaming lobbies for fun. Eventually, people got fed up and reported it enough times, and I merely ended up on the blacklist again. That's how shitty their Report system is. Cheating doesn't even warrant a true punishment.
You can actually get stuck in the reported server, and you don't even have to trash talk to get in there. Just by reporting and blocking too many people the game will put you in the banned server for like a week or two.
The more u play in fg hell the longer u will stay ppl will report u so that u stay there lol once u land there dont play for two weeks and u will return to reg fg

I remember when I first started experiencing this in 2015, people denied that this existed and even accused people of being in this supposed "banned" servers as liars who probably did something to deserve it, but just weren't admitting it. It felt like 95% of players didn't know about it and no top RUclipsrs had made videos on it for what felt like the longest time. Even when I would call Nintendo to see if they could help me out, they would give me their best explanations, but it was clear that even they had no idea what was going on. I literally played that "PAC E STAN" player yesterday, and it was the most awful connection I ever had! What's worse, he actually wanted to fight in that connection. I didn't even know this thing exists, but I am probably in it now that I think of it. Last time I was on there I had a Mewtwo literally just running to the other side of the stage, charging shadow ball and waiting (against my ganon) and talked shit through tags. Then, I had a super sweaty Cloud who just walled me out, got me offstage and taunted. So much cancer.
In glory on 3DS it's not always the same. I don't see everytime Bayonetta, I don't wait too long for play but yeah, sometimes, people run away before the fight (maybe a probleme of connection or they finally busy). Sometimes, there are lags but not everytime... EDIT: On 3DS, I don't make often battle with only 2 people on glory because literally everyone kill himself... I play for glory 4, or glory team match (or fun)
I've personally been in For Glory hell for a straight month and advice to those who are dealing with it, take a break from the game. Players can still report you and the cycle will never end.

I'm starting to wonder if there are other FG "servers" as well. Sometimes I get put against a gauntlet of players who seemingly just picked up the game competitively, and other times I get a series of incredibly talented players....
This feature needs to either get updated and moderated for ultimate, or completely removed. Ideally the first should be what we get, but knowing Nintendo, we'll likely be lumped with the same situation we have now. I have no issue with punishing assholes that spam projectiles and camp, or toxic assholes who abuse the tag system being "banished" to a separate server where they can only play against each other, but this seriously needs revising, either every report is taken seriously and both players are reviewed, which will never happen, or an automated system determines how long your character stays in one place, or how often your matches end in a timeout, or simply by perusing the amount of cancerous tags you have, but all of these have the potential to be misused and there will always be people that are punished for things they had no control over, the main issue is Nintendo's apparent unwillingness to care or help players affected by their poor choices, at least if they listened to people there'd be a way to rectify mistakes, but they don't, they don't even acknowledge the issue, and, in typical nintendo fashion, tell us to get fucked.
I've been put into FG Hell a few times on the 3DS, for a few weeks sometimes, and it's only slightly more tolerable because opponents can't make custom names to show their salt.
I don't know the default time but a lot of people are sure it extends the more you are reported even in for glory hell, it's kinda why I stoped playing.

For those wondering (and I speak from personal experience) If you don’t play online that much then you’ll be unbanned soon. Like around a week or so. But if you do play online a lot, expect to be there for up to three months. I’ve actually been in FG Hell for 2 months. I’ve seen some shit.

I'm glad this is finally getting main stream attention. I remember when I first started experiencing this in 2015, people denied that this existed and even accused people of being in this supposed "banned" servers as liars who probably did something to deserve it, but just weren't admitting it.
It felt like 95% of players didn't know about it and no top RUclipsrs had made videos on it for what felt like the longest time. Even when I would call Nintendo to see if they could help me out, they would give me their best explanations, but it was clear that even they had no idea what was going on.
My only wish for Smash 5 is a decent, proper, operable reporting system. It's so broken.

I literally played that "PAC E STAN" player yesterday, and it was the most awful connection I ever had! What's worse, he actually wanted to fight in that connection. I had to mash any move 2 to 3 seconds before the move came out. In the end, I won because he Up-B'd/fell past the ledge...

I didn't even know this thing exists, but I am probably in it now that I think of it. Last time I was on there I had a Mewtwo literally just running to the other side of the stage, charging shadow ball and waiting (against my ganon) and talked shit through tags. Then, I had a super sweaty Cloud who just walled me out, got me offstage and taunted. So much cancer.

This is pretty much what I experience on a daily basis playing for glory.
In glory on 3DS it's not always the same. I don't see everytime Bayonetta, I don't wait too long for play but yeah, sometimes, people run away before the fight (maybe a probleme of connection or they finally busy). Sometimes, there are lags but not everytime...
EDIT: On 3DS, I don't make often battle with only 2 people on glory because literally everyone kill himself... I play for glory 4, or glory team match (or fun)

I actually played that weird Mario and the golden Falcon in my recent visit in for glory hades.
Most of the time when I beat players with Jigglypuff on for glory they always leave after the first match.
I've personally been in For Glory hell for a straight month and advice to those who are dealing with it, take a break from the game. Players can still report you and the cycle will never end.
4:07 I can relate to this. I've meet people that spam roll. And if you think that's worse, they also try to camp me out with DeDeDe, R.O.B, any projectile character that can camp. It's annoying as hell. And when I die, they taunt me and teabag me and they think they're the shit. I hate those people and that's the reason why I play for fun more that for glory.

I'm starting to wonder if there are other FG "servers" as well. Sometimes I get put against a gauntlet of players who seemingly just picked up the game competitively, and other times I get a series of incredibly talented players....
This feature needs to either get updated and moderated for ultimate, or completely removed. Ideally the first should be what we get, but knowing Nintendo, we'll likely be lumped with the same situation we have now. I have no issue with punishing assholes that spam projectiles and camp, or toxic assholes who abuse the tag system being "banished" to a separate server where they can only play against each other, but this seriously needs revising, either every report is taken seriously and both players are reviewed, which will never happen, or an automated system determines how long your character stays in one place, or how often your matches end in a timeout, or simply by perusing the amount of cancerous tags you have, but all of these have the potential to be misused and there will always be people that are punished for things they had no control over, the main issue is Nintendo's apparent unwillingness to care or help players affected by their poor choices, at least if they listened to people there'd be a way to rectify mistakes, but they don't, they don't even acknowledge the issue, and, in typical nintendo fashion, tell us to get fucked.
As a main Robin, Smash Hell feels like home, because I spend more time there than in the actual servers.
I've been put into FG Hell a few times on the 3DS, for a few weeks sometimes, and it's only slightly more tolerable because opponents can't make custom names to show their salt.
I don't know the default time but a lot of people are sure it extends the more you are reported even in for glory hell, it's kinda why I stoped playing.
If I found you on for glory, I would just leave from just the fact that I would just get bodied no questions asked

this is super entertaining, I wish FG hell was more easily accessible / less of a wait grind because watching salty players do this tag shit gives me life and I want to fight them all myself

If you don’t play online that much then you’ll be unbanned soon. Like around a week or so.
But if you do play online a lot, expect to be there for up to three months.
