your fuel gauge says you have one lap left, yet you still come into the pits. you set your strategy to pit on lap 7 but you pit on lap 6.

I love this game, wasn't my first but one of my favorites, and the favorites of lots of people, it's normal than this series got that ashtonishing support

Looks like the PS3 is struggling with this game
I think it has something to do with Vegas, every so often when I import the raw game files into the software it doesn't show the audio track, so to fix it I have to rename the compoundplug folder within the Sony Vegas files, but that may be compromising the video quality somehow :/

btw when you take that bowl in sector 2 before that right turn onto hulman blvd, make sure you hit the apex. if you have to go slower, do it. it sets up the right hander onto hulman blvd. and makes it so much faster. i have found that i was able to make up 3 tenths just from that. so in short don't swing it wide.

On your current fuel, yes you can stretch the first stint, provided you can get your pit crew to get ready for you.
If you set fuel to pit on lap 7 you can go until lap 8 on the first stint.
Ben/Tiametmarduk, shifting up the gears saves fuel
This is definitely my favourite racing game of all time (however, by the sounds of it this will most likely become f1 2016!). on the fuel part, you can run another lap, it still says in the bottom left, more often than not, that you have 2 laps of fuel left, so you are able to go that extra lap so it'll then be one lap of fuel when you come in which will be fine :)

Yes, that's possible. But you must press 'select' that lap before you pit. That way you'll ask for a pit stop
Yes you can do 1 more lap, but you have to press the pit request button or else it will just drive you straight through.
yes it's worth staying out an extra lap. also if it rains, you have to wait until the track is proper wet as in there is spray coming off your car, otherwise the mechanics is will fit dry tires rather than wet or intermediates. it's the same the other way around so if the track is wet in a race you have to wait until it is almost bone dry before you pit to ensure that you get fitted with drys. it's annoying cuz you can't select what tires you put on.
Ben you should adjust your gear ratios if you can. Barely touched 7th gear. Could gain some time with shorter gears.

your fuel is shown next to the pit in indicator and the fuel pump. in this case you had 2 laps left when you stopped.
People love watching F1 2006 simply because we think it was a better sport then...

Tarzan & Bowie Comedy I'm talking about everything not just engine issues...M Schumacher, 37 and in his last year (of his first career) fighting vs Alonso, 25, for the world title both battling for race wins...definitely less predictable than today
+Anthony Iuculano Yes the 2006 season was the one that made me definetly fall in love with f1 but todays f1 reminds me a lot the 89 season with Teo teammates fighting like hell for the championship and also i love nowdays f1 because of how close the midfield teams are and for the great talent of the drivers.

It does say the number of laps you have left in the bottom left mate. Use the name grid at the top right to know what driver it is

The banking at Indy isn't high enough to make a difference to lap time, unlike Daytona for example

I know this is old but why are all the setups more rear wing than front? , it should be other way around. Rear wing creates most off the drag and a little front wing gives you positive front end, plus you're running traction control to help even more with rear grip. Just wondering?

quick question for those who have played this game. did the Bridgestone and Michelin tyres actually handle differently or did they behave the same. (stuff like tyre wear and balance etc)

the AI is slow as fuck at magny course, so you can win next race no problem.

U´r biggest problem on this track was actualy u´r gear-ratio. It was way to long, even so long, that you where running technicly only 6 gears. I bet a better gear ratio would have been around 7 tenths and maybe a few miles more on the straight.( for excample, sometimes during upshifting u´r rpm is dropping down to around 14k, which is an area where the v8 engine just dosn´t have any power. The gears schould be closer together, so that you are not going to drop below 16k during upshift.
Hey man, you should add the Forza series to your channel, it will help your channel grow; especially with forza horizon 3 coming out.
