      As a gauff fan I think it’s gauff that need to lock in, Naomi knows how to exploit her weaknesses. This will be a big test for gauff more than Naomi imo. Naomi likes to play the big name players and always plays her best against them

    Gauff is really going to test Osaka’s rally tolerance. Osaka wins in the pace department, but Gauff is going to make her play a few extra shots in each rally.

    I LOVE when she played like this! I knew it was only a matter of time. Thought it was going to be at US Open, but it’s all good. Patrick and Serena had 10 slams together. I definitely can see about 5 with Naomi!! ❤

    Naomi Patrick will work as he is adding more spin to her game like he did to serena. She is coming more to net and has improved her return game which was horrible this year. It will work

    The shoulder- hip rotation on the forehand is immense. Reminiscent of Serena forehand on her run from 2012-2015. Beautiful to watch especially if they show more of it in slow-motion.. 👍

    I'm glad she's getting through the rounds and improving her ranking. Soon enough she wouldn't have to play the top seeds the first two rounds of any tournament lol

      There is no excuse on her part.
      Serena near age 40 came back and played slam finals. Naomi is just being so hard on herself and getting frustrated easily forgetting that she was not exactly winning slams a couple of years before she went on maternity leave.

    Feel sorry for Volynets, she plays better than she used to but Osaka getting stronger back recently as well, Osaka now hit more difficult good shot straight down the line than before, I believe she will get back to top ten very soon.

    A baby Serena. The power, the depth and pace on how she hits the ball is AMAZING. One of the best groundstrokes in the game. Once she learns more volley in her game, it's going to be quite hard to beat her.

    It continues to confound me why these "lesser" baseline players think they can just stay back and trade blows with the BIG baseline players like Osaka and Sabalenka.
    They are going to be blown off the court every time. They MUST do something different. Serve and volley, or attack the net on short balls, or break up the pace of their shots.
    Staying back and feeding these BIG guns is an exercise in futility.

    although yes her shots pack more punch and are more explosive, it seems not natural/smooth. very forced movements. i personally can't see her swinging with this much effort into every shot for a full year of tour events. but happy to see her finally winning again

      産休前よりどう見ても状態は良いよ。
      ムラトグルーは何かと話題になることも多いけど、コーチとしては有能。
      ガウフ陣営にいた事もあるし、ムラトグルーからガウフ戦のアドバイスもかなり貰えそうだから面白くなると思う。
