The Mouz NXT thread was one of the silliest things I've seen in a while, not even circumstantial evidence as the clip can be easily explained from many different angles.

@@El1as-- just a few players were remarkably suspect at the latest IEM. I'm confident in saying donk is cheating after evaluating about 100 hours of his most recent replays. 10 hours of which are footage of his smoke spams - where you can very easily detect that he has a soft aimlock.

When I get into a clutch or get nervous I look down to do a health, kill, and ammo check. Doesn’t make sense but when you’re under pressure you do random things.
Bro he is literally watching something. This is not the tick thing honestly, it's too specific to look down for so long in a 1v1 while planting like wtf. I often lift my mouse and brush any irregularities on my mouse pad before entering sites etc.

While it is true that pro players might be cheating, I think it is also important to point out that there really hasn't been a case where a pro player was found guilty without them having a couple of clips that make absolutely zero sense. It is very unlikely that someone who is good enough to be a pro without cheats will use cheats to boost their performance to pro levels without it being very obvious. If someone can go pro without cheating, then it doesn't make much sense that they would be cheating and risking their entire career.
Overall, I think it is safe to say that almost no pro player (if any) is cheating. It just doesn't make sense.

100% right, we all have ticks. You have no clue what weird things you do until you realize it, and most of the time you simply won't notice unless it's on video. A while back I figured out that I like to draw a vacuum under my top lip when there's not much action, and only realized because my lip and gums were hurting a bit after a session. Yeah, weird, I didn't even realize it. Now you're gonna do it too :)
Most people just completely ignore the fact you can hear, it also helps when you talk over the noises in the game.

i do the same thing when clutching, i’ll literally stuff myself in a corner for 1-2 seconds when i know i have timing, look away from the monitor, and clear my mind and think what the other guys play is.

Otherwise if not to re-check keys looking at his hands to re-affirm the key he needs to press.

That’s what I was thinking, chat, ammo, health, etc. back in CS:GO I would always have the scoreboard on the bottom as it’s much easier to look down quickly, they really need to add scoreboard on the bottom again as a feature
On ancient, couldn't he be looking at... well his real radar ? If you look at his position, he is forced to look down to diffuse from the angle he chose and has no good view of CT nor temple (where I think he assumes the guy is most likely) but I think the normal radar could spot an enemy before his actual pov. Temple because of perspective and CT because of fov, especially if he is playing 4/3. Often in a game I spot an enemy in my radar seen by one of my teammate although THEY DIDN'T REALIZE THEY SPOTTED THEM, like at the edge of a smoke or something.
And on nuke it could be exactly the same for ramp. He killed 2 guys decon, planted safe from double/lab, but if the last guy was peeking ramp maybe the normal radar would have spotted him. In the end both opponents were smarter anyway and he loses the rounds.
I could be wrong obviously but the guys using these as evidence seem like whiny dorks anyway.
People have no clue how pros position themselves on maps. Pros do. They'll know which angles a player is likely and ive seen times on LAN whete the crosshair is on the enemy because they realize thats a spot they could be. Cheats on LAN? Highly doubtful as LANs go through more check and balances then someone walking into the white house (hyperbole btw).
I see it in valorant all the time and in Halo. Learn the game properly, then youll see what i mean

if you got 2-5 people potentially yelling at you or just giving input and there's a small overlay to show who's voice is speaking, he might be looking at it cause it could be his IGL or another player and it changes how he plays. we've all been in clutch spots where at least two people offer input as to what you should be doing or comming what they hear "he's long/behind you etc"

This is exactly what someone cheating would do... Play normal when he knows he being watched... Get small hints. Not game winners. Just enough to know extra.
If it was me I would want to know off the start of the game where people are going. And when I'm about to do something that's going to take me 30 seconds or 20 seconds to accomplish I would want to get a little Intel before I start doing everything. But during the situation is the worst time to cheat. You want to cheat when it doesn't make sense to cheat because that's the only time you'll get away with it. You're obviously going to get caught by using the cheat to solo for people or went around or anything like that. But if you can just give yourself a little bit of a boost.

He could be looking at his notes, but the again, applying your method, why would he be looking at paper notes in those specific situations? It doesn't make sense. Or could it be just a reflex to look at your notes?
He must be looking at something, right? I think more than likely it's his phone. If he was looking at twitch chat or receiving some information from other sources, it is still not ok, and this should probably be investigated. But I agree that these are not necessarily proofs he is cheating.
