On March 28, Changan introduced its latest offering, the 2024 Changan UNI-Z plug-in hybrid SUV, marking an exciting addition to the automotive market. Available for pre-sales are two models, priced between 127,900 and 134,900 yuan (equivalent to 17,900 - 18,900 USD), offering consumers a range of options to suit their preferences and needs.
Measuring 4730/1890/1680 mm, with a wheelbase of 2795 mm, the Changan UNI-Z boasts spacious interior and sleek exterior design elements. Notably, its blackened C-pillar creates a captivating floating roof effect, complemented by multi-spoke aluminum alloy rims and a panoramic sunroof, adding a touch of sophistication to its appearance.
Inside, the cabin exudes luxury, featuring an expansive leather-covered interior with a streamlined layout dominated by high-tech displays and controls. Among its standout features are a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, a sizable 14.6-inch central control screen, and a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel. The integration of advanced technologies such as Huawei HiCar, Alibaba's Amap for real-time navigation, a premium Sony audio system, customizable 64-color ambient lighting, a built-in driving recorder, OTA updates, facial recognition, and voice recognition further enhances the driving experience.
Powering the UNI-Z is Changan's innovative Blue Whale iDD plug-in hybrid system, comprising a 1.5L engine paired with an electric motor, seamlessly coupled with an E-CVT transmission. The engine delivers a robust output of 72 kW & 125 Nm, while the electric motor provides impressive performance with 158 kW & 330 Nm of torque. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 180 km/h, the UNI-Z offers a thrilling driving experience. Moreover, its 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack grants an impressive pure electric range of 125 km (CLTC), with the official comprehensive range yet to be disclosed, promising drivers both efficiency and sustainability in their daily journeys.

Small countries up to 15 million inhabitants should be able to buy your cars, specifically the Republic of Serbia.
